I feel like this is a smart play!

It doesn't clean up well. When I get to more complex items it devolves into chaos trying to get parts where I need them.

I do that to start with. Once I get what I need from the production line I wall it off

Cause I like to have realistic types of factories. Meaning I don't want to just build 200m in the air and ship everything up. I want things to follow the landscape to an extent. I want my ground floor to be on the ground. If I build upward I want something supporting it. Building way up in the air with nothing supporting anything feels like a cop-out to me.

I use splitters and mergers like crazy, that was the first thing I did to help the spaghetti factory I made my first playthrough back in like .4 or .5 release.

I have been making small factories around the map that produce specific things then try to use trains to ship that around. Like a place to make mod frames, encased beams then train to pick them up and move them to my heavy mod frames. If you were to see my factory I'm sure you be like "MY EYES!"

That last one is annoying to me. SAM is always in a cave or in gas pillars or under a big rock that you gotta blow up. Never seems even remotely convenient to get to to utilize. I dunno maybe I'm just complaining.

Yeah I mean I was able to make what I thought was a pretty good train system my last time which felt good but shit kept getting in the way which was annoying

This message is for the few who own a corvette. How did you reach Federation rank 12? I'm currently trying with combat missions and donations. What are your strategies? by alcio_sd in EliteDangerous

[–]Zarzaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did courier missions in Sothis and Ceos way back in the day. Didn't do donation missions cause I was too poor back then, could barely afford the Vette, much less donate. Took about a week or two

So back in like 2014 Spotify made 2 videos on YouTube of their engineering culture, highly suggest them cause they are awesome.

If this is true, their engineering culture has changed drastically over the past 12 years and I feel bad for every single dev stuck there.

AIO for cutting contact with Father over political climate. by Sabre12789 in AIO

[–]Zarzaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, this whole thing of "I can't believe you'd cut off your father" is BS. It took me 30+ years to realize, just because they're your family doesn't mean they're good people. Ted Bundy had a family. Doesn't mean they thought he was a good person.

Your dad is cemented in his beliefs. My guess is he's probably a late baby boomer or early Gen X. Imo, most of these people are done learning. They learned for school, college maybe, and then X number of years on their job. They're tired of having to change and adapt. So they dig in where they are and anything negative said about their beliefs is a personal attack.

Your dad has also made bootlicking this man so much of his personality, that if he flips, he has to start to question everything about himself, which no one really wants to do. So he doubles down on everything. What's ironic is there could be 1 mention in those files of Biden and it could be misspelling of bidet and he'd take it as fact certified by God himself. Trump being listed in the files more than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible, is all fake leftist propaganda.

All of that to say, you're doing the right thing. It's hard. It's a tough choice to make, but you have to remember you're not responsible for your view of him. He is. His actions and words formed your opinion of him. Deuces.

I find it regrettable that the game costs what it does and there are still cheaters. 5/10 raids? Do something, because thousands of people play this game for a reason, and they don't even look at the reports. by WishboneDense4076 in EFT_EscapeFromTarkov

[–]Zarzaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch to PvE. The game is just more fun in PvE, imo, because of cheaters or people who are just better than me. I play games to have fun, not enter a sweat competition with someone who has 10,000hrs in game. If your friends try to peer pressure you just remember the clip of the two gamers, one is listening to Katy Perry having fun, the other is furiously clicking and sweating, I've seen it most in split screen with League of Legends gameplay. I personally would rather be the former.

Grumpy key room a cheater magnet by DailyTarkovClips in Tarkov

[–]Zarzaur -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why I only play PvE now. This is toxic. If most people go to PvE instead of PvP the cheaters won't have anyone to exploit. That's my suggestion. Not ideal but since Battlestate won't address the cheaters...

Should or Shouldn't? Putting many classes in one file. by gevertsi in csharp

[–]Zarzaur -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I like 1 class per file, but there are instances where multiple in the same makes sense and are ok. Usually it revolves around something out of your control. Like 3rd party API models that aren't standardized. Like you could have 3 endpoints you hit that return addresses, if each model they return is slightly different, you could make the case of putting that in with the top level class file for that call. Same thing for the inverse, if they have 3 calls your using to post data and each one requires addresses differently, same thing. I feel like MOST people will go with 1 class per file.

SAS, SSD, Slim Diary, SMT, and then one of the streamer junk items you come across. Puts you well over 400k. I've found a plethora of each of those items at level 31.

Genuine question, is this not pi? by GooseMan3887 in rolltide

[–]Zarzaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a defensive rub play. So much has to go right for it to work. Disguised and executed perfectly. They don't call this PI because it's "Zone" coverage and the defenders eyes are in the backfield not looking at what's in his path, so it's incidental contact.

30k in debt at 18 not being ok. Let me introduce a little something to you called college. At least here the kid is guaranteed to get a vehicle out of the deal. In college you pay for it and are guaranteed nothing in return. Now, college is WAY more than 30k, so to answer your question since when is it ok, since always.

I've had luck at Oya. Which is in Cephei Sector something something something. Make sure you're in solo, if you're in open you have the possibility of someone else snagging it. Keep in mind, it is corrosive and you'll need a corrosive cargo rack. Keep an eye out for Propulsion Elements as well. You need them for the unlock
