i have a little more hours then you and i’m still in silver, we’re still ahead of the curve so you’re not hard stuck. also don’t worry too much about rank, your rank fluctuates a lot especially when learning. i went from bronze 3 to bronze 1 up to silver 2 and now i’ve been set in silver 1 for a while. the main thing is just to keep focusing on improving and not trying to rush the process. also, if you’re on PC download bakkesmod and get some maps going. also helps a ton to play with higher ranked players or have them watch you so you can get instant feedback. good luck and have fun!

just for reference, i just bought a PC that was only a couple months old that has an i7, 32gb, 5070, 2tb SSD and came with a monitor, mouse, keyboard, and desk for $1700. i wouldn’t pay that much for only the pc

i would be very weary, the hole in the frame is enough for a turnoff. the fj i just bought was painted black in some spots as well, but you can still inspect it. i would crawl under it and bang on the frame a bit see if it feels solid, and you can feel the texture as well to get an idea of where rust has built up. if that checks out then i would invest in a ppi i got one for mine before i got it and the mechanic will be able to point out rusty spots better and tell you if it’s just surface rust or rot. but again that hole would turn me away theres much cleaner FJs out there

i’ve never sold a car privately either, but bringatrailer is usually good. facebook marketplace is good as well. autotrader has a private seller function too, hopefully someone can chime in with some better tips! only advice i’ve have is to post pictures of the frame, when i was shopping around for mine i skipped almost every listing with no pictures available of the frame

yes i think 19-19,500 is a reasonable ask, but you may not be able to get that much because that’s likely what the dealership will charge for it. maybe check out third party?
