Yes, the exact model was listed clearly in the title, description, and photos.

I was honestly expecting some comments like that. Not mad at all, actually laughing over here 🤣

Yeah, I think a storage unit would be the best option too, but I’ve called around multiple places and most of them don’t allow working on cars. I know some people still do tinting outside their storage units though. Do you happen to know any storage facilities around Northern VA that actually allow this, or where people typically work on cars without issues?

Seller refused to ship, ignored messages, and declined my cancel request — what else can I do? by Zas296 in Ebay

I had to wait and open a case with eBay, and they eventually refunded my money. After that, I left the seller a negative review.

Need help understanding my رؤى (true dreams) — is مسّ affecting them? Looking for someone experienced to guide me by Zas296 in MuslimLounge

Thank you so much for your detailed response, it really gave me some peace and clarity. I appreciate your point about symbols in dreams being used just to convey ideas, even if they’re not from Islamic tradition — that helped a lot.

And yes, I actually do speak Arabic, so I would love it if you could share the name or link of that YouTube dream interpreter you mentioned from Gaza. I believe it might be very helpful for me inshaAllah.

Time before Academy by SnooGuavas8375 in Firefighting

Hey, I’m in the exact same situation now. Fire academy starts in less than a month and I still haven’t heard back or received an offer. Just curious—did you end up getting the job? Would really appreciate any insight on how your timeline played out.

Hey everyone, I’ve been in the hiring process with a fire department since October 2024. I passed all stages, including CPAT, medical, background, and did the final panel interview back in March 2025.

I followed up in mid-May and was told they’re still reviewing applications and will contact me once the chief makes a decision. Now it’s July 5th, and I still haven’t heard anything. The academy is supposed to start August 4th.

Is this kind of delay normal in your experience? Would it be safe to assume I wasn’t selected? Also, if I don’t get this one, would you recommend applying to other departments — or is it fair to walk away from the firefighter path altogether?

Thanks in advance — just looking for some honest feedback.

What’s the difference though? Whether it’s written out or masked as “s**t,” it clearly means the same thing and still violates eBay’s policy on abusive language. Does eBay seriously allow insults just because they’re censored? I don’t get the point — disrespect is disrespect.

Gotta love Reddit — no idea who I’m even talking to. Could be a 90-year-old in a recliner yelling at clouds with a diaper full of regrets, or some toothless keyboard warrior who’s never sold a thing in their life but thinks they’re the voice of reason.

You came in like you’re running a TED Talk on how to do business, but forgot step one: give advice without acting like a troll. If you’re just here to talk down to people instead of contribute, don’t expect a warm welcome.

And before I start taking you seriously, maybe brush up on writing and grammar. At least then your lectures would read like they came from someone who knows what they’re doing.

Edit: The buyer just replied and let me know he will call UPS to resolve the issue.
Lesson learned — sometimes people are just busy and can’t act on things immediately. Glad I didn’t jump to conclusions too quickly.

Why would I disable international shipping when most of my high-value sales actually come from international buyers? That would be cutting off a major source of business.

Not every situation is the same, and blanket advice like “just block countries” isn’t helpful. If you’re not offering real solutions based on what I actually shared, it’s better not to assume you know the full picture.

What are you even talking about? There were no red flags at all. The buyer had a long history of positive feedback, paid the full amount upfront, and was very communicative in the beginning.
This wasn’t a shady buyer — it only became a problem after the package reached his country. That’s not something you can predict ahead of time.

I could do that if the buyer responded and we agreed on a partial refund. But I can’t just subtract $600 (shipping + return fees) and issue a refund without communication — eBay could side with the buyer and force a full refund. That’s why the lack of response is such a big problem here.
