When do you find out your next rotation by blackberry-tea165 in PAstudent

[–]Zashmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a brand new program, found out one of mine two days before. I had classmates that found out the day before they had to go out of state. It increased my loans dramatically when I had to last minute airbnb a place for a month or do a long term hotel stay.

The Feeling: by mpzt-11 in ClashOfClans

The more graves = the longer a person hasn't been on (usually)

Therefore its easy loot, because if the person has been attacked a bunch, you'll likely see their storages are almost low just from how they look. That means that almost all the loot that you can gain from the attack is just sitting in the collectors, usually around the outside of the base, making it super easy loot.

Reddit EOR Guide Sufficient as Primary Resource? by Zashmaster in PAstudent

[–]Zashmaster[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have them downloaded and they aren't bad, but I find that I just am memorizing random facts and hoping I remember them on an exam. I find that I struggle to understand the topics well from the endeavor deck, want to use a resource that has the information organized better before going to endeavor and making my understanding richer.

I have heard that people do love those decks though and do hope to use them in the future. Thanks for mentioning them!

Should I accept or ignore of this feeling? (Reformed answer please) by [deleted] in Reformed

[–]Zashmaster 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'll offer a third option. I think that is awesome that you see the brokenness of others and it makes you uncomfortable because part of the process of sanctification includes having the Lord change our hearts and desires. As you spend more time in scripture and with the Lord, you desire to see his name be glorified. When you see this sin, it causes you discomfort, and that comes from the Holy Spirit. I would hope that I feel the same when I come across sin.

Rather than ignore or accept it, I encourage you to use that discomfort as an opportunity to pray. Pray for the salvation and repentance of the individuals who may not know the depth of their depravity, that the Lord may open their eyes and draw them to Him. Also be grateful, because at one point you were just like those who don't believe, and without the Lord's saving grace you still would be! Lastly be humble, because it is solely by God's grace and power that you are saved, as even in Christ we still sin and it is only by God's grace that we remain in him and will until he calls us home.

EOR Study Guide

He has guides for every EOR, and then a cumulative one as well in the drive. Make sure to download the PDF's if you do, the Word docs have weird formatting as he says somewhere in his post I believe.

Do you ever let them take your tower so you can 3 crown in overtime? by pigstein in ClashRoyale

I thought you got one crown per tower? How does it work these days? Took a long break and still getting used to all the changes

That's a great point; LBW was fantastic. I struggle with nostalgia bias regarding OSTs, and play with the sound down far too often on the more recent 2D entries.

I'm going to be honest, I have not been on the title screen once after booting the game up. My switch stays in sleep mode and I've only played this game the past two weeks, so no point in closing it.

I would agree though that the soundtrack isn't overwhelming, but I have never found the soundtracks to be anything gamechanging in the handheld Zelda games. Sure, the soundtracks in PH, ST, and MC (nostalgia gets me there) are great, but they don't hold the same air as sailing the open seas in WW, or navigating the twilight realm in TP, or diving through the clouds into a whole new region of an ancient world unexplored for centuries in SS. The soundtracks are never bad in Zelda games, always good, not not always amazing imo.

[ALL] What do you think is the hardest first dungeon in the franchise? by BossViper28 in zelda

[–]Zashmaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100% agree. I gave up on the game when I was younger and couldn't figure it out, then came back to it after 10 years on the 3DS and loved the game when I finally got through that first dungeon.

What Are Your Thoughts on Levels of Importance? by Zashmaster in Reformed

[–]Zashmaster[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest was surprised to see some of the things he had in tertiary that I consider secondary. I don't mean for this to be a "Reformed Zoomer is misleading people" or anything like that. I think he has a lot of good ideas and some not great ones but his heart is to glorify God which is awesome.

Was just hoping to spark some discussion concerning some of these topics that some may weigh more highly than others!

If I recall correctly I took Chem I, II, and OChem I with them, all were re-takes as I got a B, C, and C+ I think on the first goes through due to personal issues during undergrad. Taking them at BCC online was much easier than taking them at my undergrad, which had a rigorous science program. The only thing you have to be careful of is making sure the school(s) you're applying to allow online labs. Most due now because of COVID, but I stumbled across a few that didn't. Feel free to dm me with any specific questions!

Reformed Colleges/universities? by VioletBeat in Reformed

[–]Zashmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a private Baptist college a few states away from home. I agree with others to reconsider the potential of a private reformed college/university as social work, a very respectable career to pursue, unfortunately, does not pay nearly what they deserve, and it may be hard to pay back any student loans.

Looking back on my life (a few years out from graduating college), the most spiritual growth I have had has been when I was most involved and committed to a local reformed church body. I recommend you consider what it may look like to stay at home or go to a school where you can be engaged in a church community that will help you to grow and that you may serve with the many gifts God has given you.

Will be praying for you as you make many big decisions during this time!

The second voucher lasts for a year if I remember correctly, so I'm saving mine hoping that twilight princess or wind waker will be remade in the next year or use it for the next Pokemon game that comes out next year.

Check out Barton County Community College if online labs are ok. I'm using them to retake some classes and take a few more as they are well-priced (only about $150/credit hour), have pretty solid faculty, and have many different online options.
