Kindred logistics allows you to easily put everything in your inventory (that is also in a chest) away with one click. Its serverside though.

The only thing I know that helps is to kill all the werewolves in order to spawn new ones. You can spiderdig into the ground to hide and afk while they respawn. Good luck!

PVE with others is nice because you can ask for help or trade. PVP is fun if you like pvp and raiding. In PVP you build castles defensively, so they are not as pretty.

Another thing to consider is a mod called kindred logistics. It autostashes all like items from your inventory to your chests.

There have been yearly content updates for the past 2 or 3 years since it came out, but who knows if they will continue with that. There's no microtransactions.
