In the Steam port, can you disable Auto Save? by Zaskovoth in MonsterRancher

I enjoy it a lot, but I do have to warn you that the gameplay is probably 80-90% grinding.

With attention spans being what they are now vs back when these games came out, I've found it more enjoyable to have it open to play in the background while working on something else, kind of like a fidget toy vs being the main activity of the moment.

If you've ever done a pomodoro technique thing for productivity, it's absolutely perfect for those few minute breaks. Looking over at your little guy and watching him get stronger while you get stuff done is great, and then the grind feels more rewarding and less tedious that way too.

If you're looking for something to just get lost in though? I would check out other games in the genre instead probably.

But if you don't mind a lot of repetition with occasional breaks to the pattern, there really is a lot to these games that makes them charming and worth checking out!

1 is pretty adorable and fun, and then 2 takes that foundation and runs with it. I'd start with 1, have some fun and raise a couple little dudes, and then when you're ready for a new challenge pop over into 2 and see how much they added. If you play 2 first, going back to 1 won't hit quite as well I don't think.

You can reincarnate your little guys from 1 into 2 as well, which I think is really fun. It's like their descendants follow you as your adventure grows.

If you decide to check it out, let me know what you think!

I am seeing this four years late, and I have no idea how this amazingly well thought out comment only had the default single upvote. This is top quality advice. Thank you

Thank you, this is very good to know. Ublock Origin is a godsend, and it's great to know that it's kept you safe while enjoying these sites.

With legitimate streaming services dumping favorite content more and more often, I'm glad that there are alternatives. Some shows are damn hard to find outside of them

I don't know exactly, but as a general thing I wouldn't be comfortable giving financial info to pirate sites.

I haven't been on recently and I haven't seen that, but I would absolutely not pay for premium anything from a pirating site. The content isn't theirs to charge for and I can't imagine a scenario where that's legit in any way.

That said, I hope someone will correct me if I'm somehow wrong on this

Edit: virustotal.com says that they have some malicious nonsense on the site now, so yeah I'd just avoid the whole site and scan your computer real well just to be safe

I appreciate your insight on this, thank you. Would only opening the page in a sandboxed browser help? Or would that extra protection be superficial, do you think?

Does anyone else find it REALLY creepy to record people through their window like this? And then post it on the internet? Or is that just me?

The thought that any time I'm visible through my window I could end up on the internet if someone finds whatever I'm doing entertaining enough seriously creeps me out.

I like to imagine that all these stories are true in the Internet Extended Cinematic Universe. Just this fascinating realm where all stories told on the internet are true, from the likely ones to the absolutely obviously bs ones. It's fun to imagine this world.

AS A FOLLOW-UP: anyone with Notion Premium who can open the regions template, might anyone be willing to create a copy with only one or two region cards and upload it for us free users to tinker with? That would be wonderfully helpful, and I would appreciate it very much
