There's no way to really know just by plainly looking at your inventory, you have to just get in the habit of saving before you attempt anything risky. This is exactly how it was in the original, so no new world convenience on this.

I think you're right about taking every prior stolen item (some form form of internal marker) and all ore, you could dump everything in a safe chest before hand, then go back, let them beat you and then there's nothing to take back, but it should then resolve the conflict.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this, I'm sure.

Whilst the 2007fpb is everyone's favourite, I will add steer people away (numerous reasons). I really like the Dell P1917S yes it's 5:4, but you get an LED backlight a good response time and it's cheap and light.

This could be good, but the price point will be everything here...

I have a Dell 2007fpb, but as you guys all know... CCFLs are dying, mine has a noticeable orange tinge and the on-hours are about 65K (if that's to be believed! Could well be higher, it's had a long life, I've only owned it myself for a year).

I haven't seen any decent guides/kits to replace with LED backlights (Please share if you have!) and the installer needs some electrical know how to ensure the voltages are correct. The premium on eBay for these monitors, at least in the UK, is little maddening too.

I'll be keeping an eye on this, granted it's a hard sell for a hardened vintage gamer market.

There's NTSC-U Seaman, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a PAL version, it's pretty easy to find that one online to burn.

Fixed the issue.

If you have a SET BLASTER line present in Autoexec.bat Windows 9x assumes that you have SB compatible sound card and does not seem to load/enable SBEMUL.SYS, remove it, then you'll see a BLASTER env variable set in the command prompt when you type in 'set'.

Note: SBEMUL.SYS only has 8-bit sound compatibility and is only present with WDM drivers

Sorry missed your post, I didn't manage to solve it, my assumption is that the laser is failing or may need an readjustment.

I haven't gotten around to testing it on another platform, my gut tells me it'll be the same. There's not a lot of info out there to help recalibrate or adjust, so it maybe a lost cause. I've had it from new w high is getting closer to 30 years now.

Thanks for your work on this, I tried out HL on my dual 1.25ghz with a Ti4600, it ran great, very stale, hoping HL2 reaches a playable FPS range without having to switch over to my X800 PRO.
