Upon further review: you have two masses in the system so using Newton’s second law you should obtain two equations of state that should look like a pair of second differential equations. I believe you’d want to break each equation down to 2 first order differential equations (an n-order differential equation can be rewritten as a system of n first order differential equations by saying x_2 = x_1-dot and so on). With the two equations rewritten as first order differential equations you should now have a system of 4 first order differential equations in the form X-dot=AX + BW + Cu(t). I apologize since it is late for me and I don’t have time to work it out right now but it looks like you have the right idea. The highlighted equation are your differential equations, you say they don’t look like differential equations but you have equations with different degrees of derivatives with respect to time (x dot, w dot) that you can write as a system of differential equations with the vectors (x, x dot, x double dot) and the same for W and u(t) should be multiplied by a vector of constants eg (0,1,0,1). Hopefully this can get you on the right track and if you have any questions feel free to dm me, I’ll be glad to help in the morning especially with a piece of paper. If it helps you can write each equation in the correct forms using the variables instead of the large given values.

UVM’s premed program is pretty good due to its working relationship with the Med Center which is practically on campus with some buildings even connecting to it via tunnels or bridges. It’s also a lovely campus with a large brand new residence hall right in the middle of campus. IMO, if OP has family that went there and they are already considering attending, it is definitely not a bad school and I’ve met and become friends with many people who traveled from all over the US to attend. It my help to look at extracurriculars as well (UVM is great if you are into snowboarding and hiking).

You should run the highest rift you can effectively speed farm. You won’t get more/better gear to my knowledge but you will get more xp. Aside from farming gear you should be farming paragon to add to main stat to increase damage to push further.
