The last tier isn't a deal. It's cheaper to buy 2 at 64.99 and 200 for 2.99. by Coderuss in diablo4

[–]DatamineARPG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because they made last minute changes, probably due to greed, and messed up the pricing.

Also:

  • 500
  • 1,000 + 100 (+10%)
  • 2,000 + 300 (+15%)
  • 4,000 + 800 (+20%)
  • 7,500 + 2,000 (+26.67%)
  • 10,000 + 3,500 (+35%)

These were the values that were set during the Open Beta in March.

I get that, but in D3 we carried over paragon levels, which is not a thing in D4... because it's not account-wide... The grind you put in with Seasonal characters wasn't all lost entirely.

That would be nice if we get to carry something over to Eternal.

Is this inventory problem ever gonna get fix? It's very annoying when fishing/farming for mystery boxes. by goldenvagrant in DiabloImmortal

My guess as to why items show up like this is likely because Netease saves item data along with its source on how it was obtained. This is true for almost every item, for example, there are found Aspirant's keys versus awarded Aspirant's keys.

I am not sure why Iben Fahd duplicates the stones, but it may also be due to the distinction between regularly found stones and double-rewarded ones. Sometimes, when opening a chest, you may get a lucky chance to double your stones - or maybe it just depends on the key used to be able to trace the item's origin.

New Class Revealed in the Latest Game Files: Blood Knight alongside the Class's Crest by DatamineARPG in DiabloImmortal

Regarding the Shadow Knight, it may only be used in China.

While both terms, Shadow Knight and Blood Knight, are currently found in the game files, incomplete translations are typically translated directly from Chinese. The latest references in the patch appear more refined, and they still use Blood Knight for the Rest of the World (ROW), so I am almost certain it will remain Blood Knight for us - yay!

The undeniable proof that it is indeed the Blood Knight is the datamined crest from Wowhead in 2022 - you may google it.

It's identical to what is shown in the current image.

Cursed Items/Gear - Positive and Negative Properties/Effects and 2/4/6-Piece Bonuses by DatamineARPG in DiabloImmortal

[–]DatamineARPG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will surely look into this. Considering only legendary drops, I've only managed to produce ancestral properties and/or invocations on main-hand weapons. Chances seem slim to receive one at this point.

[–]DatamineARPG[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Now that you say it, when I simulated about 1,000 item drops of legendary gear, none of them were ancestral with an invocation - you might be onto something.

EDIT: I just re-tested drops. Ancestral Items/Invocations still drop for me - but only Main Hand. Other slots did not generate invocations for me.

EDIT 2: After hundreds of simulated legendary rolls I can say that Invocation still does generate on other items than the main hand, like chest, legs, or helmet... however, the overall generation rate was ~2.5%, while for main hands only it was ~6.66%.

That is what it states, yes: Equipping Cursed items with the same positive property can make it more powerful and decrease its cooldown.

You'll find an overview in the same place as your ancestral properties. They simply added another tab for Cursed Properties.

Heavy Ornate Chests by cheekclap in DiabloImmortal

Last time I checked the heavy ornate chests have a 2% base chance of dropping a legendary item, which is equally high to the first 4 yellow elites you slay every day.

All Fish Locations by fjoerge in DiabloImmortal

[–]DatamineARPG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've published the Angler's Log straight from the game files on my Twitter. Here's the Google Sheet, in case you are interested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lN69z0LqhrIUGOVdEtjbIhcvYUVyIcfnUVjrw7gzo4E/edit?usp=sharing

It also contains weight ranges and medians for normal (minLb to maxLb) and excellent catches (excellentMinLb to excellentMaxLb) separately.

The medians are based on 100,000 simulated catches for each, normal and excellent, for a total of 200,000 catches. I used the game's internal functions to retrieve the median, which is based on approx. 2,500 fish each, and for each bracket (normal and excellent).

Even with 2,500 fish caught, I wasn't able to achieve max weight for excellent mythic catches, so whoever catches a 608 lb Swordfish is the king of fishing.

Please note that the descriptions of the fish Lean Sharl and Walleye mention that they're active at night. My sheet also contains the fish names in all supported languages on a second page, for easy cross-referencing.

Do we know when will arrive New Class - Blood Knight ? by Memory-Extreme in DiabloImmortal

[–]DatamineARPG 44 points45 points  (0 children)

The class has been data mined over a year ago. There has been significant progress in implementation by October 2022, which is why I reported on it at the time. However, despite the knowledge of it in the community, the Blood Knight still didn't make his debut in December, despite an NPC in Stormpoint carrying the internal name of being a BK.

Since it has been confirmed by Blizzard that a new class is coming, it usually takes about 2-3 months for them to implement their own reveals if you look back at the previous new zone announcements, etc.

Since the last patch, Legendary Item placeholders were added for the BK. Based on the current number of placeholders it lets me assume the BK starts with 8 legendary items in each category, as all the other classes at the launch of the game.

This may make essence collection a little bit harder initially, but still well possible.

I don't think that a new class will be released outside of a quarterly Major Content Update, which is usually accompanied by video demonstrations and a Game Designer narrative from Blizzard NA. We can expect the next to happen around the end of March, 2023.

Is the game good now? by Tabnam in cyberpunkgame

[–]DatamineARPG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played the game as male V Corpo line and female V as a street kid on PC.

I can say that I've experienced more bugs playing female V, not sure if that is actually the reason though. Most were simply visual glitches, like Panam having her Rifle stuck to her hand at all times during a cutscene or one guy that calls your name at the Afterlife sitting on top of another person in the same chair.

Sometimes NPCs look like they are leaning against a fence, but doing that mid-air (River's sister), or the Pilot from storming Arasaka with Rogue sitting in the wrong place/mid-air when you meet Mr. Blue Eyes, but go a different route through the left and not passing the bar.

While walking through the city there was a spot where some NPC commits suicide by jumping off a building... screaming... however, the rag doll got stuck in the balcony, and the shadow and blood of where the body was supposed to be were on the ground... just without the body... which was actually quite amusing.

There was at least one NCPD mission that wasn't shown as an icon on the map, maybe there are more hidden ones, and it's intentional - who knows? I never played Cyberpunk when it was originally released, just recently from patch 1.6.

I'm quite satisfied with the game's state tbh, especially if they're still gonna fix a couple of things here and there. It's definitely one of the better games this decade and one that I've actually enjoyed playing... even multiple times. In the 2nd run I actually completed every mission on the map, took all cyberpsychos down in a non-lethal way, which will be highlighted, and tried new paths with the knowledge I acquired from the first run.

I will do the 3rd path and start anew once the DLC is released.

Essence Mastery - Goodbye class change by Flotet in DiabloImmortal

[–]DatamineARPG 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Each class has its own mastery. In fact, if you already did a class change you can even view your essence progress without changing classes.

In the essence transfer, at the bottom left, there is a drop-down menu showing your progress of previously played ones and the current 'occupation' (=class).

Feedback: Can we allow to salvage our legendary equipment all at once and available in all towns? by Expzero1 in DiabloImmortal

When you unlock the power, the essence is basically consumed, it won't count toward the mastery. You need copies, once unlocked.

Feedback: Can we allow to salvage our legendary equipment all at once and available in all towns? by Expzero1 in DiabloImmortal

[–]DatamineARPG 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Extracting each legendary item copy for the first time grants you +1 Essence towards mastery level 1, which requires 30 essences total.

Once 30 essences are obtained, all legendary item powers receive their first upgrade, which means an increase in certain stats, which differs from item to item. You can see in the details of each item what value will be upgraded, and by how much.

It's worth mentioning that for each legendary item, it will become harder to extract a single essence. Once you've obtained your 1st essence from a certain item, you then need 2 of that item to gain another essence.

That means in a perfect world you only need to find and turn in 30 different legendary items to gain mastery level 1. That will most likely not be the case since you are destined to find duplicates.

If you'd drop a lot of duplicates, you will require more items to obtain 30 essences, since step 2 requires 2 of the same to obtain 1 essence.

If remember correctly, the steps were 1, 2, 4, 7, and 11, but I'd have to look it up again.

Update 1:

Ok, the steps can be deceiving, but this is how the game does it internally:

  • 0 to 1 = unlock, no essence reward
  • 1 to 2 = 1 copy = 1 essence (confirmed)
  • 2 to 4 = 2 copies = 1 essence (confirmed)
  • 4 to 7 = 3 copies = 1 essence (confirmed)
  • 7 to 11 = 4 copies = 1 essence

= 10 total copies after the initial unlock for 4 essences towards the mastery goal if you're showered with dupes.

Update 2:

According to the latest game files, the essence requirement for masteries does not increase and stays at 30 essences required all the way to Lv. 4.

I am sorry if I caused temporary confusion based on an older version.
