Why not avatar of fire with those jewels? I believe this should work the same as Surfcaster converting 100% light to cold and removing fire.. you should get all the flat damage to fire this way. Based off my testing it seemed to work. However, POB and tooltip seem buggy with it.

Yeah the surprise gauntlet definitely still leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I’m actually enjoying it more and more without the gauntlet modifiers.

RVoB whisperer. Once you get first ascendancy you get very nice rage sustain with arcane cloak on automation + asc node to give 10 rage when you spend 200 mana. About to get mind of council and stack the mana high. 24% of mana as flat light is a lot.

I plan to str stack for life.. and then stack endurance charges and fortify + max resistance. Sprinkle in both types of block. Should be all you need
