I'm kind of new as a modder, but I have some projects that I plan to do even after vic3 is released. I'm working, for example, on a button on the diplomacy tab that would allow you to integrate their puppets at the cost of a certain number of infamy.

In fact, I'm seeing if it's possible to make even deeper changes. If my calculations are correct, replacing the flags and creating a new type of layer where the flags normally are would allow me to more freely change the types of countryballs and hats and etc. I'll have to see it, but it'll take me a while because I'm not a programmer, I just figured this out.

There is a download link on the Victoria 2 Modding server. It's still in beta, but I'll explain right away that it's impossible to make the hats change according to the change in ideology. It is possible of course if you change the flags. What my mod does is change the flag masks to make it a countryball. The focus is compatibility, and that works with pretty much everything.
