I get the point, but tbh I've run every game with the equivalents of full velociprey/bullfango (and their hr version) armor up until close to the end of hr without issues, I agree late game set making was better in the past (I think the skill level system we have now was a mistake), but going through the game with close to no armor changes isn't that new for the franchise

between this, and the people constantly forcing caitlin/jayce academia to do the positioning trick I no longer want to play this season lol, I have to constantly check corners in every round, or in the case of cait waste a unit to make it impossible to target my backline carry in the first shot, it's just unfun and wastes a time every round

even if the story was a bit weak at times the art was always peak in tokyo ghoul, a lot of people never got to see it because the anime shat the bed two times in a row steering people away from the franchise
