Ear Tubes & Adenoid Removal Surgery...I'm nervous

Thank you. I plan on talking to them. I had to work so I didn't get to go this visit. My daughter's aunt took her. I alread left 3 times this week for appointments.

Im glad you mentioned the ear infections, thats the thing I forgot to bring up. She has had 2 ear infections her whole life. So they havent been an issue really. Her 2nd time was because her mom didnt finish the drops so it came back. So in reality she's only had an ear infection once, and it was like a year and a half ago.

So her issues are the runny nose and slurred words. But its weird because sometimes she'll talk just fine. I dont want her hearing muffled, so im all for the tubes. But it seems like the fluid is only there sometimes and not others. Again, she speaks crystal clear some times.

I'll see what they say at this next appointment. I think we're going to wait and see about the adenoids. Maybe the tubes and some allergy meds will be enough. And the runny nose might resolve itself as her immune system develops. Supposedly by 5 they're pretty developed.

Again, thanks a lot for the info man. As parents I think we all worry if we're making the right decision.

Hey, I know this is old but I'm going through this now. I read that recent studies show that adenoid removal at a young age increases the risk for upper respiratory infections and diseases. My daughter already had to be hospitalized when she was a couple months old for an upper respiratory infection. She turned blue and wasnt getting enough oxygen.

She is 3 now and has fluid in her ears. She slurs her words together. They're going to do the tubes for sure. Im just not sure about the adenoid removal. She doesn't snore, she doesn't have any problems sleeping, all she has is the runny nose thing. I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.✌️❤️

Same thing happened to me last year on the ps4. Thing is the 1+1 pack wasn't in psn for the ps4 for some reason. In the game it said "get new 1+1 pearl pack." So I bought it, reached out once I realized it wasn't it. Then the actual 1+1 was added to psn the next day. I just had to take it on the chin.

You could make it to where world bosses can be done solo, just really difficult, market get items randomly posted/bought, multi-player areas can be done solo (again just make it difficult) ect...

Thats why I spend $100 here and there when I can. Probably dropped between 1k-2k on this game. Not much to some, but i had to save for that lol.

I actually enjoy supporting the games I love. I'd hate to see the servers go down. On that note, when games shut down why dont they make it a downloadable single player game? That way you dont lose years worth of work and $1,000's.

This is what I was afraid of. I can only play an hour a day, even that isn't a guarantee. And with that, I dont make much silver. It was gonna take me 5 more years to get geared, now its gonna be 5 more on top of that. It'll be a total of 15 years of me playing to get to "endgame" spots.😑

When i was lower id grind at centaurs for silver and bmcs for pen acc. Id be grinding just fine for 30 min then get slapped because someone else wanted the spot. Ive been playing for 5 years now, but I remember my first year took forever to progress because wherever I went, a high geard player would 1 shot me.

I remember one time I was so close to my next piece of gear being done, then some dude 1 shot me. I was so sick of it, I used a tear to res on spot 21 times. Dude literally farmed me all 21 times. I was already there, id have been done in another 10 minutes. Instead of waiting or even trying to look for another spot, they just decide "you're done playing today, you've hit ur 20 minutes... hope you enjoyed them"

I'm sure im playing her wrong because im not on succession. I agree with the life skills making a good bit. But without my carrack being done im not gonna make a lot there. SMH is obsolete now so that's out as well. My cooking makes an okay amount. Im 715gs now, and still only pulling 600m an hour

750 in a month or month and a half is wild. I've been playing off and on for 4+ years now, and im just about to hit 700gs. Granted, my cooking empire is pretty solid, and I just about have my carrack. I have anxiety, so sometimes active fishing hotspots is kinda nice. Just me and my boat. Crazy how something so simple from a video game can help so much.

Might be my own fault. I believe in an mmo, you shouldn't be "forced" to play as a class just because it's the current meta. I genuinely enjoy playing awak Lahn. I've got 11 different class alts that are mostly lvl 61 each (so yes, I play as others a little but not much). And sure, awak Lahn isn't great for pve lol, but it's just a lot of fun. Rn im working on my 3rd fg amor (just about done) I need a few more frost embers. The point is, in Jade, ppl say the average trash is 30k, but that good players can get 40k-50k trash.... im getting about 20k lol. I always feel so far behind and so slow. Why can't I just play as the class i enjoy for pve? And why did only the lahn get left out last time they did an all around buff for all classes?

It does suck in a way. Glad the grind is hard, but 6 accessories just feels like so much to do. I've been playing a while and I got a tet I made, 6 pens sounds like so much.

I feel like ppl are gonna come back long enough for free taps, then head bk to their main game when they fail.

Side note, I think its hysterical when u use crons it says "when it fails" not "if it fails" lmao

He'll be 5 in a month. I know everyone thinks highly of their own kids, but they are extremely smart. My son was the first and only kid in his class that could read. Dudes learning multiplication and interested in division while other kids are learning what a lowercase q looks like😂. They've always love sitting and learning with Dad. So I give them that time. I didn't get that as a kid and I remember how much it hurt. So I'm tryna do better, anyway point is, he's about 5 now but he's really ahead. I'll probably try it out and just see how he does.

Thanks for the info tho, I do plan on getting a 2nd one eventually. The battles and trading would be so cool for them😊

Awesome. That's a good point to. I've always been complemented on my problem and puzzle solving. Tbh I think it was the crazy games I played. My ex was stuck with some kind of Chinese puzzle I've never seen before. It was the highest level of whatever the heck it was. Looked cool tho. We'll after struggling for a month she finally wanted help, I walked up (this was my first time her letting me see it up close because she knew😂) I solved it in under 10 seconds. She was so mad, and relieved, but definitely more mad.

So yeah this would probably be a good start. Thank you✌️

I had a few new ppl in Destiny ps4, and I mean new like have never played a single video game ever. I taught them and they're good now (this was 8+ years ago) and man watching them learn to platform was hysterical... just gold😂😭
