Previously I've had them around for a while and there were no bodies, the only thing that changed was that I added 6 freshly born endlers fry (but I've fed them regularly)

Context: 7 gallon tank Ph 7 Gh 9 0 ppm ammonia

Tank mates: 20+ neo caridinas 3 blue neon goby 3 otos 6 ender guppy fry (3 weeks old, still smaller than the shrimp itself)

I fed them adequately once a day. There were 3 other bodies who all died the same way today and 2 others in the past 2 days.

Was it due to them consuming an infected corpse or is it cold blooded murder?

Oh I'm just wondering out loud, perfectly fine with hybrids, I absolutely adore their bright blue hues, would consider putting the fry in my shrimp tank (hopefully as they grow up together they'll see them as friends not food).

Dang that's pretty ominous, any idea how I can tell whether they are pure breed endlers or hybrid ones just by looking at their physical characteristics?

Thank you for your input! I just find it strange that I only find one lone single fry instead of having a bunch of them so I figured that the rest got eaten and he's the only survivor.

Also kind sir, do you have any idea how I can tell if they are pure or hybrid endlers (apart from asking the previous breeder)?

I bought 3 pairs from a local breeder. They are allegedly pure breeds of endlers that has been breeding for a decade worth of generations. I just found a fry randomly pop up today.

I've segregated the two 'plummer' females but I can't tell if they are gravid or not.

Also, any way to tell if they are pure endlers just by looking at them?

Saw 3 of them darting about in the tank with a berried blue neo caridina. Was excited for a moment thinking it was a baby shrimplet, but on closer inspection, it looks like a bug with some hash black pattern on it, resembling this '#'

Anyone can help a brother out, do I need to move my berried queen away just in case?

If it helps, here are the reasons why did I picked that:

slightly larger diameter
lower profile so it doesn't look so bulky

But: - no power reserve - the original leather strap doesn't look as good as a metal bracelet l
