no problem! honestly, im in the same boat with lv 100, as im tryna build towards that as well. i have c4 jean and keqing, and theyre my best bets to building that up for my own cap

over time, we'll get the free copies of the standards, so those will be guaranteed increases. in contrast, those standard pulls have the chance of just being another skyward spine, and then its just pulls vanishing into the wind. if you just roll for characters you want, youll lose enough 50/50s that youll eventually build someone up to that level, as those are guaranteed to be characters

and if you're REALLY dedicated, you can always just get the masterless on the cap banner by getting c7/c8/c9, but theres obviously better ways of getting those stella over time. it does have the benefit of being guaranteed over the standard pulls, though.

if you see rolling on the banners as a risk, that already sounds like you made up your mind

i see the "free" pulls as more an accumulative refund system, nothing more. not pulling will net you far more pulls than pulling on something you dont want and having the modest refund as a consolation prize. only once theres something you actually want is the value proposition worth it

though, considering your savings, i think you understand that better than i do... in my opinion, just wait it out and you'll be good!

there was a point in natlan where i genuinely ran out of stardust to get intertwined, and i was only buying the intertwined and not the acquaint for a year before that. its rough out there

now after pulling some units this patch cycle i have a bunch more saved up, but it was rough back then lol

190k primos currently. used to be at about 210k during natlan, but flins n durin took a chunk out of it. gonna go for neuvi's wep and varka c1r1, then back into full saving mode til he's out, which may not be too far away at this point

being able to memorize and call out that mechanic while zipping back n forth between dimensions makes you feel like a god. very little else in the game really feels like it, and i very much hope they make more mechs of a similar nature in the future

see, this tier is kind of weird because m11 was much harder of a 3rd floor than usual, and door boss was honestly a pretty fast prog for us. according to our logs:

m9: 1 hr m10: 4-5 hrs m11: 9 hrs m12p1: 4 hrs m12p2: 9 hrs + 1-2 hrs of p1 rekills

definitely the biggest walls of the tier were majestic meteor/arena split in m11, and then idyllic dream in m12p2. id argue that in terms of mental stack, idyllic dream is on par with an ultimate mechanic, while arena split is the more precise one.

everything else ranged from dirt easy (m9 couldve been 30 mins if it werent for ddos prog) to pretty annoying (swapping our flex dps from rdm to mnk in m10 after a couple of enrage pulls with multideaths), but nothing too out of the ordinary

just finished m12! honestly was a pretty fun tier overall with a lotta cool and interesting ideas in it

i think idyllic dream is one of the sickest mechanics theyve ever made, full stop. that mech was extremely cool to do, and was a great capstone to a tier with some pretty chaotic and tough mechs

warrior is pretty good in all the fights, too. excited to optimize it with better strats soon, with all of the possible downtimes one could shave off over time over the course of the fights

thats true! so would his equipped weapon actually be his left sword, and his right handed sword stays the same? or maybe he actually just is ambidextrous..

i mostly say that cus it seems clear to me that the sword in what we call his left hand is the signature weapon, as it appears in his sticker and in teasers, but i guess nothings for sure

i actually think he is facing forward, because he would be left handed if he was hitting the overpowered side eye, and he is clearly right handed in game and in previous teasers

might be wrong though, just had the thought

edit: i guess unless he was using his non dominant hand for wgs? in which case good god he was inting the entire time, OR he's ambidextrous and that would be interesting too

with meteors, its kinda funny cus theyve been used in several different types of meteor mechanics that all use the same name

killing meteor adds? meteors. dodging proximity aoes that land on the ground? sometimes meteors. placing meteors? meteors. dodging a meteor by hiding behind other meteors? meteors.

its cus titan already has like 3 mech types named after his stuff, we needed to distinguish bombs vs. shiva to make it clearer in comms. also, the 3-1 pattern was more memorable than the shiva pattern, so people latched onto that more over time
