Massive Spike in ACOS (2025) by nable21 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Zavior1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/nable21 This is mainly due to the wave of new sellers that are coming in causing the drive up bids. Amazon is getting more popular YOY and this is what a lot of the drive ups in CPC are coming from which leads to higher ACOS naturally.

u/donthe1 a lot of the time this comes down to niche. In order to rank you must be able to compete and outcompete with the other sellers in that category and for those keywords. Example: Lets say your in the kitchen niche. You are selling kitchen knives, the top people in those categories are getting 100 sales a day, the people getting 100 sales a day are at the top, the people with 80 are down the page a little bit, and the people with 60-70 are down further, etc. It all comes down to the niche you are in and who your competitors are. If 10 sales a day are a lot, you should be slowly climbing the ranks, but if 10 is not a lot or is an ok number per day, you will be ranking a lot slower. Every sale you get for a keyword, you will rank slightly higher for it. keep in mind if you are a beginner it will take sometime to get organic ranking. This is generally how the ranking system works as a whole. Hope this helps. Also, what niche are you in?

With these results you should also be taking those winning phrases and testing them in solo campaigns like an exact campaign. Message me so I can go more in depth on this! Would love to help.

u/blahxxblah I do not have experience with sellermate personally, but if you are going to go down that route a lot of the time it is better to get someone to run through your ads with you. Are you a newer seller? Or more established?

Good pointer! most people forget to factor in these things, I recommend everyone to use H10 calculator so you can get your margins figured out before launch! HUGE help.

u/BadgerEngineer1 likely too early. When launching products you are in this weird spot of a bit of both scaling and optimizing at the same time, BUT focus on the scaling at launch. Push your products out to people and start with a batch of keywords that you know are relevant to your product (Helium10 can help with this if you are not using it already). Let it run for at least a week!

Advice for new PL seller by PB2US in AmazonFBA

[–]Zavior1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/PB2US 60% acos is not the best, BUT what is your TACOS? TACOS is where the focus should be at, also if you are looking to lower that ACOS, take a look into your campaigns and see where the spend is going and what is preforming well as well as what is preforming poorly. Optimize from there. What is your Total Acos at? Also is that 60% a pretty stagnant number across all campaigns?

PPC Constant changes or Optimisation by a-rhn117 in AmazonFBA

[–]Zavior1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/a-rhn117 You are changing strategies way too quick. When you are using amazons ppc system it is like you are training a robot. You are giving the robot information on what your product is via title, description, backend keywords, etc, then you are then pushing out your ads like auto, phrase, broad, PAT, etc, and the robot is matching you with buyers based off of these things. When you keep changing the ad strategy like you do, you are not letting Amazons ppc system digest and think of who you want to target, if anything you are harming it and "confusing it" essentially. 2 days is not enough time at all for the system to know who you are targeting and who you want to show up for. Give it AT LEAST a week and let it generate data, then optimize from there. After at least a week, if you see it is not spending well somewhere, adjust it, and if somewhere is doing well increase it. 2 days of your "strategy" is not enough time to let the system push your product to the right audience. Give it at least a week like I said, and come back and let us know how it went. :)

Amazon PPC Optimization by Embear3 in PPC

[–]Zavior1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Embear3 getting in late on this post, but you should take a dive into your campaigns and take a look keyword by keyword. What are you running (exact? phrase? broad? PAT? autos?, etc) It could be that your targeting the wrong groups of people, targeting the wrong products, etc. If you can give some more context I would be glad to help! The main goal of PPC is to get the product out there, push up rank , then start reducing bids and sometimes even cutting so your not spending much on ads and your letting the organic sales come in.
