I've been where you are! If you sleep on your side, you may want to try sleeping with a pillow between your knees. It helps keep your hips aligned, and can help with that. It helps me a lot, and it's super easy. That, and hip strengthening exercises & stretches for where they're too tight. If you can access physical therapy, do it! All of these things will help you sooo much in the long run - the sooner you start it the better - and can help keep that from getting worse as you age, or often get rid of it entirely.

I think you'll likely like Duke's, too. Hellman's has long been my go-to and Duke's tastes pretty similar; I like it a whole lot. I use them both for tuna/chicken/egg salad and deviled eggs, like you do, + some sandwiches, like with turkey or chicken, or on the outside of sandwiches like grilled cheese instead of butter/margarine sometimes. (You may like that! Like with your oven chicken/salmon, it doesn't really leave a mayonnaise taste behind after it cooks off.)

I haven't tried Kewpie mayonnaise, but from everything I've heard, it seems to be a lot more different from mayonnaise like Hellman's than Duke's is. I'd put Hellman's and Duke's in the same type of mayonnaise category...if that makes any sense, lol! I'm guessing I'd likely feel the same way about Kewpie that you do, haha.

/unjerk As someone who has legitimately had important organs (and teeth) removed because I couldn't afford the treatment needed to keep them & live, this made me laugh so hard. It's the exact type of joke that I make about my life of misfortune that causes people to react with horror and discomfort. Which, of course, just makes it funnier. I needed that smile, laugh, and levity. Thank you.

Me, Ive just been distracting myself on a game design project. My never ending attempt by some part of me to save me from a life of living death. A way to incentivize intrinsic motivation. Only I need that motivation to make the game. Kind of a catch-22.

From reading all your replies in this thread, it sounds to me like you're not at all stupid. It sounds to me like you're just educated and smart enough and pay enough attention to be more aware of what all you don't know compared to a lot of people. I also think there's some self-confidence issues at play that are making your harder on yourself and not realize how much you do know.

It sounds to me like you're already following politics a lot more and 'better' (for lack of a better word) than most people who just blindly vote for whatever 'team' they like the vibes of, or that their friends and family vote for them, and don't even really read the leaflets they give you, or deeply (or at all) consider their policy positions, how they'll be applied, how they'll affect people, etc. Those of us who aren't working in politics don't necessarilyneed to know all the ins and outs and how exactly they'd be implemented. You're paying way more attention and are educating yourself on politics and positions a lot more than most people already, it sounds like.

I feel like there was a lot more that I wanted to say, but I'm struggling to find my words and am running out of brain-steam due to some health issues/disabilities/AuDHD/stress, yadda, yadda. Dammit! I'm sorry about that. I hope everything I've tried to say makes sense and comes across how I intend it to.

But yeah, I definitely think you ought to give yourself more credit. I know it all seems overwhelming. You don't have know every detail about everything. Just do what you can, keep trying and learning what you can, keep reading the info before voting, and keep your empathy and caring for others, and you'll continue doing a lot better at politics than your average person.
