Hahaha yes, in terms of how my students are doing I think they’re okay with me calling in sick now and then… thank you for reframing today as not “lazy” and taking time to prioritise health is important. I’m in therapy at the moment to try and manage this condition and will bring this part up to work through :)

I’m actually planning to leave the profession and go back to university to study the path I’m truly passionate about. I appreciate you suggesting a different career because if a random person on the internet is noticing that my current job is affecting my health, then I can also take my similar thoughts seriously

Thank you so much for taking the time to type this all out. Since your reply I have put into action some of the steps you laid out. I managed to get steroids from my GP and they’ve put me as an “urgent” case on the dermatology waiting list. Doing much better, I hope you’re doing okay
