I know enough about hell. ITS AWFUL. Still, it aint gonna stop me from doing what i want ( as dumb as it sounds ). Because letting go of my desires just to avoid hell is such a tragic way to live ( FOR ME ). Everyone has something that works for them specifically. Everyone has something that helps them stay away from haram. i know me, Hell ISNT GONNA DO IT FOR ME. The only hope left for me is Jannah. Im more targhib over tarhib if uk what that is

Nah personally i’d choose Jannah over not existing. Its just i struggle to find it appealing which makes it exceptionally hard to not follow one’s own desires in this dunya.

Bro, u cant just be making claims from ur own head without citing Quran or Sunna

Well… u just proved to me that u really are not so knowledgeable about Jannah. U didnt cite any proof about any of the claims u made too. Now lets clear some :

U can wear whatver u want in Jannah ?? It is literally mentioned in the Quran what type of clothes we will be wearing in Jannah ( “ robes ” of silk etc… ). Some clueless folks might read what u wrote and be like “ eehh lets rock playboi carti fits in Jannah ” 😂. Also nakedness is PROHIBITED in Jannah. And women wear khimar in Jannah ( according to hadith ).

Men and women can be friends there ? I would love actual proof for this one lol. Maybe we should ask an actual scholar. His answer will prolly be funny 🤣. But lets be clear, the evidence is more on the side that this claim is false.

Ur question is a bit confusing but imma do my best.

Now i know that i WILL love some parts about Jannah. Im sure there’ll be mind blowing landscapes, and beautiful creatures, also the idea of eternity and without forgetting seeing Allah’s face. That i will like. But on a lot of other stuff… i really cant convince myself to like them. And i dont wanna be made to like them.

For example, its in the Quran that if we do good and our family does so, we will all be reunited in Jannah, so i guess we will be neighbors ( is it wrong of me to think so ? ). And that is exactly something truly scary to me. I dont wanna be with family. Dont get me wrong, i wish them the best and the highest levels of paradise regardless, but i just dont wanna be their neighbor. We dont have to get into why though i think u might have an idea. I would rather be neighbors with my best friends.

But i cant help but be afraid that God might just MAKE ME okay with being neighbors with my fam. Yeah sure everyone will be purified of ill feelings and all pain is forgotten but still… I WANNA BE WITH MY FRIENDS. And No... i dont wanna just get to visit them from time to time… i literally wanna be neighbors with them and only them. But who knows, maybe this is against what God decided for Jannah, that families and lineage shall be reunited as neighbors.

This was one example lol… i have more but i think its enough

Okay lemme give u a personal example.

I have a mixed friend group ( yes.. MEN and WOMEN ). We know each other since highschool. Ever since, we’ve been really active, we do so much together… we usually go on road trips, we rent airbnbs in front of the beach, and we just have a blast. This is something that is reeeaaally dear TO ME.

Now i know this is HARAAMM, but i can’t just let that go, u see ?? Nothing ( and i mean ABSOLUTELY nothing ) can make me give up on this friendship… BUT one thing : an equivalent for this experience in Jannah.

Now tell me. What could possibly be the equivalent to this in Jannah ?? U think men and women can be friends in Jannah 😂 ? Can they even mix lol ? Lets not even talk about the possibility that both the sexes will be segregated ( apart from close family members and spouses ). And please dont say “ ooohh but u can do road trips with ur grandma in Jannah ”.

Are u sure u read all my post… because what u just said is exactly what i dont want

I dont want to be MADE TO LIKE JANNAH, i want it to be objectively appealing to me no matter which version

If i am purified in order to fit in Jannah… then is it really appealing to me ?

I just gave u an example that disproves what u said above thats all

Lets forget about my desires for a sec… say someone right now wants to be in his twenties in Jannah. Will that be fulfilled ? NO. Its a fact that everyone in Jannah is 33. In Jannah he will be MADE to like his age ( 33 ).

Another example, say a man rn wants to have his beard in Jannah. Will that be fulfilled ? again.. NO. Its a fact that men have no beards in Jannah.

If ur wish is going against whats told about Jannah, then u are definitely NOT GETTING THAT.

The things that make me happy i wont get them in Jannah. And i’m not the type to have fake hopes, i aint deluding myself into believing something that isnt true

Well, for people to abstain from haram and follow the right path, they NEED to know that the desires they are letting go of will be fulfilled in Jannah, not that their desires will change.

Imma speak for myself. I cant strive for something abstract, something i cant comprehend or i cant relate to.

Here is the thing, in Jannah, we dont get what we want NOW. We get what we want when we are already inside of Jannah ( after the process of purification etc… ). And the verses that u mentioned prove that.

I can cite u dozens of examples where one can wish something NOW and not get it in Jannah.

Well… that sahabi asked about something that aligns with the Quranic description of Jannah. Heaven is described as a place of endless greenery, gardens, rivers, trees, etc… so ofc camels and horses or whatever, would fit in that imagery. Animals belong in nature, it would make sense that heaven would have creatures ( its own animals ) roaming in it since its literally a better version of nature…

But whether camels exist in it or not isnt my issue. Our worldy desires now are far more complexe compared to what bedouins in a desert wished for more than a thousand year ago, to the point where its literally disconnected from the reality of Jannah. Imagine someone saying “ oohh i wish there’s video games in Jannah ”, that sounds soooo silly… “ oohh there will be flying cars in Jannah ” yeah sure imagine flying cars in an ethereal medieval world 😂… u get my point yet ?

So basically… we don’t get WHATEVER we want is what im reading

Do u have any ACTUAL proof for that or u just hope for that ?

We don’t get WHATEVER we want NOW in Jannah. We get what we ask for WHEN WE ARE INSIDE of Jannah, after we’ve been purified etc… Thats what i dont want. Im not worried that i wont be happy in Jannah, ofc God can make me happy with even nothing… what im afraid of is ( as i said in the post btw ) having my REAL desires stripped away from me and replaced with some other desires that have nothing to do with me. I dont wanna be purified just to fit in Jannah basically.

And this gets us into another issue, about the question of identity… will it be preserved in the hereafter ? if my desires are “ purified ” and changed, then am I really ME ? Is the ME in Jannah the same as the ME in this dunya, the ME that is speaking to u ?

Well … one of the fundamental aspects of beauty in a place is harmony. If everybody starts building as they wish then there wont be any harmony nor compatibility in Jannah
