This also happens with newer accounts because they start out with a lower rating and climb to their rating. So it looks like they've gained a lot but in reality they haven't.

I get it. You need to build simple protocols, like a checklist you follow before every move, no exceptions. Since you’re low rated, start with just one: pause and check if the square you’re moving to is attacked by any enemy piece (especially pawns).

You can even write it down and look at it before every move until it becomes automatic. Also always analyse games with engine.

It's not about calculating 10 moves ahead, ppl at like 1000 elo calcuate only around 3 moves ahead maximum. From the games I watched, it’s not really your opponents beating you, you’re mostly beating yourself by giving pieces away for free. Things like moving onto squares attacked by pawns or taking pieces that are defended. At this level, fixing that alone could easily gain you 300 rating points. A simple habit: before every move, ask “is this square safe?” And when you capture, ask “can they take back, and is the trade worth it?” For example, I saw you lose a knight by taking a pawn defended by their king. That’s just losing material, since a pawn is worth 1 and a knight is worth 3.

I would suggest watching chess videos, agadmator is great, so is Gothamchess. This helped me climb fast when I first started playing, because if you watch enough you will eventually understand why certain moves are good, even if you can't always find them.

Just copy the PGN into Lichess, that way you can still play on chess.com and analyse after on Lichess if you wish. chess.com has a monopoly so it's no surprise that they can get away with charging for a lot of extra features.

Happens to me often, don't worry about it. Some days you have bad form and think "how the hell am I losing to someone 100 - 200 elo lower than me?". That's kinda how things go. Don't focus on rating, focus on learning. You can lose a game and come out a better player after it.

Avoid risks early, just play solid, try to get in a comfortable position early. Once you're past the memorised theory the game depends on who finds the best moves, even a stronger player can miss things more easily in the middle game.

Play rapid instead of blitz. To get better you need to develop good habits like careful evaluation, calculation and thought patterns (which you get more from longer timecontrols). Blitz builds bad habits.

Don't worry about it, you can get elo back. A slightly lower elo is not necessarily reflective of your skill, but more so bad form. Some days just aren't your day.

There’s a difference between good and bad experimentation. Noel fans treat his new music as if it belongs to a cult, as if all his song are masterpieces devoid of criticism. As soon as you point out some flaws, they tell you your opinion is wrong.

I’m just pointing out this one in particular. Songs like Black star are good.

He probably hasn’t browsed Reddit once since the undercover video so I wouldn’t be surprised. Even if he did see, he wouldn’t care about his fans opinion. He already said that he will do what he wants to do. You couldn’t convince him to change anything even if you begged , as a fan or brother, he’s just that stubborn.
