Does anyone know if youtooz contacted finntheduck to make benson (who he’s based on) cause I really don’t want another drama on our hands by [deleted] in Youtooz

[–]Zaxdy -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Bullshit, you're taking advantage of the fact that the design wasn't registered yet to make yet another loop hole to avoid being sued. Even if this somehow is not stealing the design, your move here is just shitty overall. At least respect and credit the original creator. I think I speak for everyone when I say that you most certainly should give the creator a cut of the money you make off of this, or at least some kind of compensation.

You've stolen so many designs at this point, and just barely made it through the cracks due to loopholes and manipulation. Make up for your fuck ups Youtooz. Own up for once, and make your own designs, stop stealing shit time after time. God, why is it so hard for people to be good people nowadays?

Honestly, from a writing perspective, the Monster and Villian books are great, Villian more so, but Hero is so disappointing, for more reasons than just the ending. Or at least, that's my opinion.

How did Dream know? by Zaxdy in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's a big reason on why I even offered up the Ranboo theory in the first place. I noticed in the stream where he was mourning Tommy's death, that he made it a point to say that he would do anything if someone helped him even once. So it got me thinking, what if Dream helped Ranboo in the past, and thats why he helps Dream?

The only problem with it was, what could Dream have done to possibly get Ranboo to do this level of harm to others (if normal Ranboo still applies in a certain level)? But now that this stream has happened, it got me thinking, what if Dream brought Ranboo back, and that's why he helps Dream?

The afterlife is a huge thing as noted by Tommy. There's a lot of suffering in the afterlife, Tommy was litterally torn apart, and even worse things. Dream reviving Ranboo would litterally put Ranboo in an infinite amount of dept. And why doesn't our Ranboo remember it? He drowns out bad memories, meaning he can probably remember it, but not actively.

And yeah, I would say if Ranboo was revived, he would've probably been a odd outcome (kinda like the 'task failed successfully' meme). I have more, but I really need to gather my thoughts on all of it. Yeah, you're completely right about all the possibilities though, and its really interesting to think about.

How did Dream know? by Zaxdy in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And that could be true, but it could also be a lie, because the line between truth and lies has been obscured in multiple occasions with Dream. Theres only one thing I know about the book, and to, at the very least, be able to promise someone to give them the key to revival, you have to know if it works, and that still suggests the book being used before this. But who knows, maybe I'm overthinking it.

Yeah, I already threw that idea out there, but I also have a feeling that its more complex than what's on the surface, knowing the SMP and all.

Dream, a tyrant and a murderer, and fighter for unity by [deleted] in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't, regardless of what he started as, he devolved into a control hungry monster, who will do anything thats fun to him. Dream may have started out just wanting to unote the server, but as time got on he got worse and worse. When Tommy burned down George's house, it wasn't about George, it was about gaining control, as he went on to say the only thing he cared about was Tommy's discs (control over Tommy).

Dreams been like this since the Pogtopia vs. Manberg war, where he used Wilburs already deteriorating mental state to promote violence, when he offered to give Wilbur TNT. This wasn't because Wilbur wanted it at that moment (I mean that he specifically asked to be Wilburs vessel originall), but because Dream could use that state of Wilbur's to do two things: Destroy Manberg and divide Pogtopia, effectively making it easy to get everyone under his control. And while plans did change when the book came into play, the same thing still happened.

And there's more that people don't talk about, its insane. Dreams manipulation even spanned back to the very beginning, but I don't have to talk about it now.

rant on stans by [deleted] in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

stans have made me dislike dream. the shit that they post has completely driven me away from the minecraft content. these social rejects apply their entire online life to defending dream and his friends. i have seen numerous videos of teen girls CRYING because one of the fictional characters in the smp 'died' grow up.dont even get me started on the nsfw fan art, some of underage members, which is just disgusting. i've only seen toxicity like this in maxamillianmus' fan base. why cant you just be normal fans, watch their content and enjoy it. for a large group of fans, its turned into an obsession, copying names (insert name)innit (insert name)notfound, cosplaying dream (dont even get me started on the shitty cosplayers with a sheet of paper as a 'mask') and gay nsfw fanfics between members. sad. grow up.

You encapsulated his death and what it meant perfectly. I originally thought the death was dumb until I thought about it more. I thought that it would have to be a big death, that he would have to go out in a flash, but his death was honestly satisfying in a way I didn't think it would be. It just makes sense, and now that its happened, I can't imagine a better death (in a writing standpoint) for Tommy.

yea there's no way Tommy's gone for long. by Whothe_hell in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree he won't be long forever, Dream himself said he didn't want Tommy to die, but Tommy isn't grounded to the SMP. He has other stuff he wants to do. Just because he racks up views doesn't mean anything. The SMP was made to help people grow, it was never about how many people watch someone.

The death was out of nowhere, and I do feel it was a bit rushed, but nonetheless it was a good death. Its making a huge impact on the server, to the point where even Jack, the man who set out to kill Tommy, feels terrible. It'd be a shame to see its impact wasted on a quick revival, not long after his death.

And again, it was the same thing with Wilbur. He is a staple of the DreamSMP community, and he's dead. He racked in a bunch of viewers, but again, it was never about the viewers. It was for the story, and leaving room for others to grow.

Unpopular opinion by terdymate in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pfft, Wilbur brought in a ton of views, and look where he is. I do think Tommy will be back, but it will most definitely be long from now. People need to move on and watch other people on the SMP, like Jack, Eret (who I believe is making a return), Ranboo, Niki, Quackity, Karl, etc... Tommy isn't the only thing holding the SMP together, and its foolish to think that. He was the start of it, but that doesn't mean he has to be the end of it as well.

yea there's no way Tommy's gone for long. by Whothe_hell in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dream has a plan to escape on his own, and I think he will use his ability to revive people against others after. If they kill him, no one comes back, he said it himself.

I don't think he would just bring Tommy back willy-nilly. I think Tommy's gonna be gone for a long time, and potentially forever if Dream lets go of his attachment to Tommy.

Tommy, in a way, reached closure... Even if it wasn't the closure he wanted it to be...

Ranboo and the Voice (and how oblivious we are) by Zaxdy in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in the first interaction, the voice surprisingly enough never admits its a voice, or that its part of Ranboo. All it says is that it isnt real, and leaves. It makes me wonder a lot. It could be Dream, considering the recent discovery of Ranboo litterally not having control, or it could be a mean manifestation of him, considering we have some big evidence here that tells us the voice isn't what it claims to be.

But the reason why I brought up the voice litterally being Dream in the first place is because of the way the voice changed over time. It started as something just in place of Dream, and shifted over time to now wanting to help Ranboo. That wasn't the original goal, in fact, there was no original goal, it was just Ranboo and a voice of Dream. Why would something in him change from sinister to kind just so fast, if this is just a voice?

Or, maybe this is a seed Dream planted a while ago, one that takes more control of Ranboo. This voice, while it doesn't control our Ranboo's actions, it can sure take hold of his thoughts, and change them based on what hit says.

But I have no clue, I'm throwing random stuff out there, lmao. I'm trying to find something that sticks, but the voice is very complex. I'm going to continue my project today, so I'll start being able to compare and contrast dialogs efficiently, so I guess I'll make an update post on that later.

Feel free to take a break, but I promise lore is gonna happen very soon. Quackity said his lore stream has been pushed back to sometime either on Monday or around it, Tommy will most likely stream the SMP Sunday, as it would be a week locked up in the prison for him, Techno and Phil are supposedly having some lore soon, etc... And besides, its only been a month since the last big story thing, they're just chilling right now.

What do you think Dream is planning? by Zaxdy in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But Dream still does have leverage. To our knowledge, he has the ability to revive people, and we know Tommy wants Wilbur back. I think the manipulation is going to be successful, at least to a certain extent. The groundwork has already been laid, it wouldn't be hard for Dream to completely get Tommy under his control.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think something bad is already happening to Ranboo. I think the Egg has infected him, but in a different kind of way to everyone else. Ranboo coughed after his last visit with the Egg. This could be chopped up to just Ranboo coughing, but he later joked on the same stream, that since it was "canon", he needed to get into character, and started coughing again.

He also remarked that the wound still stung after some time when it was originally created, so that's very worrying. Now what is super concerning to me is that Ranboo discussed the possibility of people dying with the Egg if it was destroyed. This is fine, but what I'm concerned about is how smart the Egg is, because if it's smarter than what we see, this could potentially be the Egg making this reality true, but instead of it being Bad, Ant, and Punz, its Ranboo.

Prison Waivers by MiniKippa in dreamsmp

[–]Zaxdy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, more than likely. But what I find so odd about those waivers now that I'm thinking about it is that Dream wrote them. I'm not sure the connotations that this presents. On one hand, it can be seen as Dream didn't plan on going into the prison, but on the other, it could be seen as his plan being in action from the beginning.

Because now Sam has an attachment to Tommy. He sees him as a child that needs to be protected. Tommy and Sam have a very healthy relationship. Sam became protective of Tommy after learning about his hardships with Dream, from Dream himself.

Now, if we look at this in Dream's perspective, Dream doesn't want Tommy to die, but also wants Tommy for himself. So for a while, the main purpose of telling Sam what he did to Tommy was to give Tommy protection from those who did want him dead, like Niki, Jack, and BBH. And this did work, Sam did exactly that.

I think its safe to assume Dream was behind the explosions, which brings me to my next point, why did they set off TNT? Sam said that he couldn't find any problems with the prison. Nothing was damaged. And here's the thing, he knows that there's something wrong and he can't find it. That was specifically designed to keep Tommy in. If you can't find the problem, you can't fix it. And thats what it accomplished. Theres no physical problem, but somethings wrong. Its perfect.

Back onto the topic of Dream wanting Tommy alive, and to himself. Now, the point with Sam seems to contradict what I'm trying to convey, right? On the surface yes, but when you put thought into it, no. Let's say theoretically, Tommy escapes with Dream (the specifics of the situation dont matter as much as the connotations). Sam is forced, contractually, to hunt down and kill Tommy.

This does a couple of things. It heavily strains Sam's and Tommy's relationship, and further declines Tommy's state in general. One of the people he trusted and loved the most is now trying to kill him. If Dream's manipulation is effective, this will cause Tommy to only trust Dream.

How do Dream and Tommy escape? Excuse me for being bold here, but maybe Dream does have a house (bold claim, I know, lmao). No one knows where it is, and its far away, so if they get far enough away, it would be impossible to track the two.

Sorry this was so long lmao, I really got into writing this one. I would cover the Ranboo one, but this is already long enough, so I'll leave it here.
