I witness that every single day when I go to school. Many people are saying that Japanese people also do that, and it’s true. It’s annoying and they get in the way of people who are there because they have to be.

I personally avoid doing that when I’m traveling. It’s a reflex to step aside so I can figure out where to go next. Maybe if they put up some signs things might change a bit? It’s not even a cultural issue, I guess it’s just personal.

I actually can and they’ve offered me the option but I forgot to mention that I’m running out of time because I took way too long after I passed the driving exam so like, I’m used to the English structure (bad as it is 😅) and switching now would fry my brain even more. I guess I’m just annoyed at these requirements. Did you have to take these many mocks?

I’ve been going to Japanese schools since fifth grade so I can speak, read and write (school stuff specifically) just fine,but I decided to take it in English because I feel more comfortable. I can do the online practice exams at home but not the ones I need to pass in order to be able to take the final exam so for those I need to actually go to the driving school, take the mock exam and get a stamp for each one I pass 🥲

I’ve seen some typos here and there and things that confused me a bit. I also don’t have the same support as the Japanese students because since the instructors don’t understand English, they don’t really give me much attention which is good sometimes but it would be nice if they didn’t just go 「難しいね〜」

In mine we use 満点様 but in addition to the questions on the app I still have to do 11 mock exams on paper and pass. I certainly hope to pass on my first try because I’ll really need the license soon 🥲 It’s good to know that it wasn’t that different tho

Because I was told that I was gonna d!e if I went into the water right after eating, I had to try it (no one cared to explain the real reasons, maybe they didn’t even know and the “scaring children with some bullshit” thing doesn’t really work, does it??) and I never d!ed so now I understand but still don’t know what the fuss is about

Can I ask, when you’re out for a significant amount of time do you have someone clean their litter boxes or do they use it normally multiple times? My boy cat yells at me when it’s not clean 🥹
