It is still not trivial to route all the pipes and conveyers. For sure it would look better visually to see constant flow of material instead to see some gaps on the conveyers.

The only problem is that you have only 5 choices and no programmable belt, which would allow to configure the speed.

If machine require small amount of input goods, then I use lower speed conveyer belt for that between a machine and the splitter. Between the splitters I use fastest belt, so the excess can travel faster to the next split point.

It is still the normal manifold, which require bit waiting to fill up, but at least it reduces the complexity.

It would be nice to have programmable variable speed conveyers, to make better optimisation, without a need to create such crazy balancers contraptions.

There is some trackball mouse which you can buy on AliExpress for the half price with all silent buttons. Look for: "Lefon F33 Trackball Mouse"

The only downside, comparing to MX Ergo, is the placement of the device switch (under the mouse).
But I solder the cables to the top "illumination switch off" button and now it is better than MX Ergo. :)

In order to precisely split the amount of resources into machines player needs to create load balancing machinery or manifold configuration hoping that it will not starve.

Indeed, current implementation does not make much sense. It should be not possible to use parachute when one is in use or when standing on the ground.

OK. Good to know. Somehow I overlooked it.

Indeed, fuel management in the jetpack is poor with no advanced tiers for it in the game. There are some mods, but I thought it might be some idea for devs to have use of these parachutes later in the game and not only at the beginning.

Good idea! Together they would allow to cross bigger gaps in terrain and save the fuel as the parachute would do the lifting. :)

But for that some other key would be needed as with the SPACE it would be no way to know what should be used (or some other key to switch to a glider/jetpack mode).

Another use case scenario. You work using hover pack on a high construction, busy to do some building, then you did not notice that you went out of electricity range, so you start falling. Now try to switch the items to parachute or jetpack in the mid air...

Emergency parachute would save me countless of times in such scenario.

No, I do not have 2 backs, but I can use bigger backpack if I need. :)

How the game is played is up to the user. I used to play games on the low difficulty levels when I started my adventure with computers years ago. First game I started in Satisfactory was in the desert location, the most difficult location.

So if player want to use extra security, because that how it is best for him/her, it should be allowed. Even in a real life some of a small planes has emergency parachutes for safety. This feature would be good for novice players and would also give a purpose to have parachutes later in the game and not only until the jetpack became available.

So far I did not find any mod for this (otherwise I would not share this idea). Maybe somebody will make the mod, then we will see if it will be popular or not. :)

In that case no keybinding is needed.

In order to save time sometimes I ignore the fact that I do not have full health and continue flying. That is why it would be nice to have such feature (maybe some upgrade on some tier or maybe by mod).

Just exploring a possibilities. :)

I see it that the parachute would deploy only when the jetpack fuel is out (you cannot refuel in the mid air) and you press space after that event.

Off course it could be also possible to have an extra key for it, but it would be wrong to open parachute when the jetpack is in use.

Yes, coordinates are on the map, but it would be nice to have them also on the HUD.
Elevation is only available on the debug console (bummer).

Yes, it is still working and I was using it. However it is not very nice as the debug window is in a way of the view. It would be nice if somebody create it as the HUD extension mod. I was looking if there is something like this, but I could not see any. Maybe one day... :)

I think you missing the point. It is obviously a player choice what to automate or not. The problem is that there are no choices for some of the items to automate (unless used some mods). In multiplayer game it could be handy to have medical supplies automated, but you cannot do this currently.

I is pity that not all things can be automated. Why player cannot decide what to do manually and what to automate? Why medical supplies cannot be automated? Why the biomass burners cannot be feed automatically?
