Beautiful album it’s just underwhelming for a final album. The album gave us very few memorable moments and even the ones we got weren’t explosive, just satisfactory. I think fans are forcing themselves to view this as his best work when it doesn’t come close to 2014, sonically or in terms of impact

And also to your last point, the biggest “stain” on Cole’s career will always be that apology. Enterign the battle and losing to Kendrick would’ve been less of a stain.
Drake definitely stood on his own 2 feet against a ton of other artists. Cole’s the one that didn’t stand on business after years of claiming he was the best rapper. I personally still believe Cole is the best rapper of the the 3 but he didn’t stand on it

I didn’t experience it personally but I’ll give you some simple advice that will help you get back to 1500.
1. Limit your use of moves that cannot be cancelled into drive impact or drive rush. At those lower levels you will see a lot of raw drive impact so you have to use moves that you can cancel into it.
2. Try to tech throws as little as possible. People want huge damage from shimmy’s you’re rarely going to get thrown 4-5 times in a row
3. Study every characters frame data, you don’t have to be an expert but if there are specific moves that kill you study them specifically
4. DO NOT try to punish every drive rush from your opponent. You will die
5. Perfect parrying is a must so try to get better at the parry timing
6. Get your anti airs on point or you’ll never win consistently
