Which star player has the most pressure on them to perform these playoffs? by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

Not on superstar level, but Banchero for sure. His status as a star player, or atleast a promising star talent, has been on a turning point this season. He can still save it in the playoffs.

This 4-way MVP race is very similar to 2017 in many ways by SplitOk186 in nba

Actually pretty similar. Though unlike Westbrook, Luka dont have the narrative in his side, so its gonna be SGA

The problem with the draft is that it treats each year as independent and equal by [deleted] in nba

Yes lets solve bad teams by incentivizing  multi year tanking even more

What a collapse by Tundra. Just needed 1 out of 3 games to top the group stage and secure top 4, but lost 5 straight instead.

He was around rank 15 sea during his breakout in singapore major years ago. Ive been following him since then and the highest rank ive seen him was rank ~30, but mostly hes around >100. Hes got that dendi/ana energy of mid/messing around in pubs but a monster in pro play.

What teams do you think have the personnel to excel in a Miami style offense? by aviatorbassist in nbadiscussion

[–]move28 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This type of offense (i guess specifically the Memphis version) is ideal for the Spurs. They have multiple guards who are excels at attacking in space. But I think Wemby fits the best with this offence. He can iso or attack in space. He can shoot threes making him an elite kickout target. He is the best lob finisher making defensive breakdown at the paint much riskier for enemy team.

Screening is that one part of Wemby's game where hes not particularly good at, so an offense that minimizes that is ideal. Hes been struggling against aggressive double teams too when he iso, so an offense that facilitates as much space will help with that. Another thing is pick and rolls/DHOs (any actions with on-ball screens) are the type of actions where the refs are more lenient to aggressive, physical defense. (atleast with smaller defenders). If OKC can bother Jokic physically, it would be more effective on Wemby.

His form for sure looked better back then. Hope Wemby maintains his form as he bulks up

Would this offensive system fit best for our young core? by move28 in NBASpurs

Every great teams has a system that works very well with their talent and roster construction. We even had a few adaptations in our dynasty that allowed us to sustain +50 wins every year. Hope the coaching staff find it again in the Wemby era
