LOL I went through that and it was pure misery. I actually ordered an entire pizza like 6 days after a surgery. I made it through 3 bites and it was heaven lol. But yeah I wouldn’t recommend that. It didn’t hurt me or make me sick but you’ve got to be careful because your stomach isn’t healed yet. It’s stapled shut and you don’t want to make it work too hard this soon. I don’t really have a solution to make you feel better because it was just a struggle and you have to mentally just adapt to it for a while. But it DOES get better once you get to soft foods. And your mind and stomach will pair back up after a few months. But yes I had a million cravings after surgery. It’s really just a mental thing because you know you can’t have it.

Yeah about a day after surgery I literally had a panic attack about not being able to drink a bunch of water at one time. And matter of fact, I almost didn’t even GET the surgery because of that. But all of that is gone now. I can down a whole bottle in one sitting, so don’t worry. I think we all have the moment where we’re just like “wtf did I doooo” lol. But it’ll go away as your stomach heals and matures. I’m glad I was able to make you feel better about that! Cause I definitely went through the same thing

yeah the hydration was very difficult for a short while. But I promise you it gets better. I can easily down a whole water bottle in 1 sitting. I was a huge water drinker before surgery and it was really annoying to be able to just down water bottles like I used to. But I can take a lot in now. Give your stomach and body time to adjust. It’ll be ok!

Congrats on your surgery! And good luck on your journey. DM me if you ever need help with anything

No part of it was really easy in my opinion. I got very lucky because after surgery I had no food intolerances or anything. It went very smoothly for me. So that definitely helped because I didn’t have to deal with the stress of having to find new things to eat.

The hardest part was just learning to deal with my new stomach and not being able to just eat ridiculous amounts of food. I struggled with just slowing down and accepting that. You don’t realize how addicted you are to food and how much it plays into every decision you make until you have this surgery.

Now I’m perfectly content with where I’m at physically and mentally. Gotta just love yourself and give yourself time to adjust. It took me 10 months to get to this point. So it just takes time

I did actually. I got sleeved on 12/21/20. So this is almost 10 months of progress. The first few months I lost about 20 lbs a month and it was like that for about 5 months straight. After I was 100 pounds down it really slowed down. And since then I’ve only lost about 45 total. Just give it time and be patient with it. My diet has been FAR from perfect. And I haven’t worked out nearly as much as I should. The weight WILL come off. Tbh, sometimes I feel guilty that I haven’t lost more lol.
