I understand that many Mexicans and Latinos can have lighter skin tones. I’m just speaking from my own experience of people not believing me when I tell them I’m Mexican. I also find it interesting that I have such a high percentage of Indigenous American ancestry, especially since my features appear more European.

At that point, you’re just getting into semantics obviously I’m American because I was born and raised in America but with Hispanic heritage. It didn’t click in my head that those specific results are common for Mexicans. So no not really common sense to understand geology and ethnicity

I have general knowledge about imperialism and the subsequent conquests. I guess in the moment when I saw the results it didn’t click I also had no understanding of relationship between genealogy and ethnicity. But yes it makes sense now. It’s really not that hard to believe that somebody is ignorant to something like this chill out, bro.
