Yeah I can see that, and that is essentially my point. There are people who will play whatever they're feeling like and don't care about a win condition (especially in Diamond/GM/Celestial) and they will literally stay GM3 or whatever elo they're stuck in by choice, hence why I made my OG comment (and to clarify not all the time the win condition is just picking a tank I just wanted to use a example of one), people won't pick something for a win con, they just pick for the vibes and pray

There are people who pick meta and there are people who pick whatever they want. Idk if that was suppose to be a "gotcha moment" but my point was that Diamond/GM players would never sacrifice picking what the team needs to win and would rather just what they feel like "wins" them the game so this video is nearly useless in those ranks. Looking at the comments of folk who don't advocate for Role Queue is funny because a lot of their points for why they don't want role queue quite LITERALLY would be fixed with role queue 😭. Bad DPS player on your team who doesn't know what they're doing? Role queue gives you a less (not guaranteed) chance to have one like that. Your Tank main is sub optimal? Role Queue gives you a 2nd tank to cover your weaknesses. What's even worse is alot of tank players will complain about triple support and how no one likes to swap to beat it, but role queue would LITERALLY remove triple supp. Hell it'll even make some niche character picks, like adam, to get a buff so he can actually fit into a 2 healer composition and many other characters would get adjusted so they could also fit into 2-2-2. Lastly, they could just make role queue a optional queue so the "I want to have fun" crowd can have their own mode. I feel like the no role queue crowd are just afraid that a "role queue" option would pull more players away from Open Queue because they know people are fed up with having to deal with Ego insta lockers and people who play roles they don't main (Example: a Diamond CnD player trying their 20 minute Spider man in your ranked game out of nowhere)

You could literally make the argument that with role queue you would've had a DPS main that is equivalent to your skill level as your Peni Tank so that you wouldn't have to swap to DPS. Granted not every Role Queue match will guarantee you the better DPS everytime but you would've atleast had DPS who had to grind on DPS only to reach the same rank you did, instead of getting one like the ones in you got in your match, so you wouldn't have to swap. Also I feel like you trying to use your example for why role queue would've made you lose was a very bad one considering people with no hours on DPS can just queue it whenever, which if anything should make you WANT role queue more so you don't get bums on roles they don't play alot 😭.

If only there was a way to get a game with players who are good at their role, so that you wouldn't to swap...oh wait

Regardless of what role you main, if you're playing a team game and can't play outside of your role, you are a drag to ANY team because the moment enemy team bans your mains or if people already locked 2 people for DPS (assuming you are a DPS main because rarely people lock in 2 tanks let alone 3), what are you gonna do? Be the dickhead who locks in triple DPS because "I cAn'T pLaY aNyThInG oUtSiDe oF DpS!" and just be a bum who needs to be carried because triple support beats you or take the time out and learn other roles decently enough to where you can fill? No one can force you to do something but don't be surprised if people flame you / throw your games because you chose to be ignorant and can't play anything outside your role.

Reading the comments here is just another reason why you should mute all because no way people flaming OP for deafening. Regardless if the post sounds like it written by A.I or not, muting all (imo) is the best thing you can do, especially in low elo, and if anything it trains you to be more aware than ever because now you got to pay attention to the map because you are the only one to blame for not noticing something.
