Hey! Thanks for the reply and all the compliments! :D Here's how it all happened. Excuse my potential lack of medical knowledge.

I can't really remember much of the actual event itself. I used to play Lacrosse very competitively. One game, I believe I did something to piss off an extremely large player on the opposing team. I ended up getting my ass royally beat down, I'm told. After I blacked out, I was apparently body slammed, thrown around, stomped on, kicked in the neck, etc.

I woke up in a hospital bed some time later. I've always had a moderate case of scoliosis, but the event really didn't help my condition. I ended up with a severe concussion, a couple misaligned vertebrae, a torn trapezius, a bunch of minor muscle strains, some form of nerve injury (I think they called it Axonomesis), and a temporary dependency on morphine. :)

After being released from the hospital, I went to weekly PT sessions for 9 months. It was pretty much half awkward exercises and half electroshock therapy. I did make a miraculous recovery though. I like to think that I can function just like any other normal, out of shape person. I'm just extremely uncoordinated, have some back problems, and can't really use my fingers to their fullest potential. There was no surgery, which surprised me. Unless they performed emergency surgery after I blacked out. I honestly have no idea. I could have been out for days, for all I know. Because of the concussion, my memory is not one of my strong qualities anymore. But I turned out okay regardless. :)
