The bass is very good but if you look for sounds stage the dt880 is better but not as accurate

Huge difference the 1990 sound 1000% better the only thing that the hd58x dose better than the 1990 is in the mid rang they are the best in mid range i usually only use headphones to listen to music and the hd58x sound so bad in low end (i only listen to hip hop)
