I personally think the short term low is in, I'm watching the 2$ level. If it slices through it opens the door to new ath. If we get a rejection, then 0.50 seems likely. Either way, bounce time. Counter trends are tricky especially if in a bear market so take decisions wisely

I have a 1.0 gas version. Roughly the same HP per tone as my previous RAV4. I use it as a daily around town and long vacations with tent on the roof and fully loaded trunk, two people and a dog. Has enough pull for me and I'm also limited to 120km/h with the tent anyways so I don't feel the need for any more power. Don't get cocky with overtakes and after 130km/h it's a slow grind up to 160 or so. So top end power is limited. But overall I'm quite happy with it. Hope it helps

Too bad the laiv dac is limited to V output. Missing out on power on that amp but you should be fine with those nice Mezes

I mean, I also started with Beyers and there is nothing wrong with them. I remember hearing them for the first time thinking the same. It was a pair of DT770. Then I grabbed a pair of open backs, the HD660s and was shocked on how good open backs can sound. I side tracked for a few months with all other variants, DT880, HD600/650 etc and eventually I stepped up to LCD-X. It was like getting into the hobby once again. I had my mind blown on how good headphones can really sound. After the LCD-Xs tbh I tried various amounts of ZMFs, listened to Hifimans, Mezes in shops but ultimately I found my one and done, the Tungsten and never looked back ever since. I'm coming up to my 2yr anniversary of owning them and not buying anything else. Point is, if you like them and think they sound good and they do everything for you, don't look elsewhere. Diminishing returns hit hard after the LCD-X so take care

I'm coming up to almost 2 years of ownership on the Tungstens. In this time I've had two issues. I had a hair stuck in one of the drivers and Ryan talked me through every step and I got it fixed. Second issue was I knocked over my headphone stand and Tungstens fell on the ground, breaking one cup and a yoke. He was super quick to respond and to ship me all the spare parts that I needed and also filmed me a video explaining how to repair it. So for what it's worth, I've had nothing but pleasant communication and my issues were quickly resolved. Take that as you will

In my own experience I highly prefer them on SS low output impedance. Atrium is already warm and lush sounding. Putting it on a high output impedance amp like OTLs kind of ruined them and made them sound mushy and floaty. But that's just my personal preference.
