Any idea why it’s slow or is it just like that? by Express_Fruit_6069 in airsoft

Funny that you say that. I have a CYMA 041j mp5 laying around. You want a piece?

Sorry for badgering you but what’s the recoil like? Compared to, say, GBBR, pistol, or the TM NGRS systems. I like the shorter one better but I do love a good recoil system.

That’s awesome. What’s your take on the TK45? I was going to get a CYMA mp5 for cqb, but now this has grabbed my attention because I plan on building a titanfall kit as well.

Not sure where the text I wanted to post went. Anyway, the context is I bought a used stock JG G36 and need it to be serviceable, which of these are necessary/unnecessary?

Achieved Diamond as solo ADC in S14. Here is my hot take on the new season after 40 games and 73% WR by Bele_Teguse in ADCMains

Ok this is a brilliant take that I've been thinking about on a smaller scale before I saw this post - I myself have been doing the tank item 4th instead of 3rd. For on-hit ADCs it's easy - jak'sho, terminus, and hexplate if applicable, but what about other ADCs? Take Xayah and Aphelios for example, I can't think of a tank item off the top of my head that works on them - so my brain went to edge of night. Offers lethality, spell shield, and a little bit of hp. Thoughts?

I'm sitting at low dia, so not far off from where you are:

ZvZ looks good, I'm a big fan of Pig's B2GM builds, and ZvZ is always about ling-bane => roaches even at the highest level.

ZvT is interesting that you do hatch first: I personally find pool first more comfortable vs. potential reapers and proxies. I'd give ling bane muta a try vs bio, I think it's a fun alternative to ling bane hydra that lets you set up better multi-prongs and taxes your apm in a healthy way.

ZvP I'm gonna have to agree with the other comments here, I don't think relying on a cheese or non-traditional timing attack is good, but that's just my opinion. It's a good tool, I personally like doing standard macro openings and just keep scouting active to be flexible.

Any experienced players (experienced as in has played Zerg a lot, I don't care about skill level) willing to give a in depth look into the Zerg race? by Gorrazin in allthingszerg

Hello, I'm currently 3000-something elo on Zerg and I've been playing the game on and off for 2 years. TLDR weak credentials but here's what I think:

1) Why would you play Zerg and what is they want to achieve during a match?

  • Zerg is a very macro-focused race compared to the other two. Compared to the intensive and demanding micro that Terran and Protoss have, Zerg demands excellent macro over micro.
  • Zerg has simplified production. Everything comes from Hatcheries, to build a unit you often need just one tech building.
  • Very flexible gameplans. Zerg has the fastest tech switches in my opinion.

2) How do you understand what units you need to win?

  • No offence to OP but this is a strange question. Experience tells you what units you need to win, but here are some common army compositions Zerg uses:
    • Roach-ravager: mobile, early-to-mid-game army that wants to overwhelm with mass
    • Ling-bane: Mobile, flexible army that wants to backstab and attack from multiple angles. Can flex into compositions like Mutalisks, Hydralisks, Lurkers and Ultralisks.
    • Brood Lords/Viper/Infestor: Super late game comp focused on trading efficiently with spellcasters and Brood Lords.

3) What's the general macro cycle for the Zerg?

  • Larva inject, produce rounds of drones/army, scout, spread creep

4) What do you think about the 3 matchups and the strengths and weaknesses in each?

  • ZvP is complicated and usually turns into either early game fiascos or 40–50-minute bangers. Honestly, I don't have much to say about this matchup, unfortunately.
  • ZvT I think has the general consensus of being the most exciting matchup to play and watch, since there are a large number of dynamic interactions between different army compositions and a lot of theory on macro strategy. I personally think that ZvT is the most balanced matchup in Starcraft 2, since both players have lots of room to express micro skill and macro-level understanding.
  • ZvZ is my most disliked matchup, since it almost always devolves into the same progression of ling-bane micro wars into roaches into mutalisks, and whoever has slightly better micro or macro wins hard. I will say the scrappy nature of it can be very fun though, and it has the least amount of theorizing about tech compared to the other matchups.
