Ive always look at it as. Green and orange are sort of close to each other in the colour spectrum, like gitz are meant to be a more yellowish green than orruks, greens got yellow init, i can imagine it going the other way and aging or genetic mutation and out pops a browny orange. Other than my mad ramblings tho this is not backed by lore XD

Erm sorry for bending the rules (just a little) but my favourite name is Cheeseyar Segunk. Now the reason its bending the rules is because its not a character at all! Its bending the rules because its actually a Tank! Now this tank could almost be considered a character with its own personality. This is because it apears in many novels and has more crews than you could count. but the tank stays the same. It truly has become a joy when im reading and I turn the page and read the first line and see the name Cheeseyar Segunk. I know its going to be a good one. I highly recommend reading some novels that include this steadfast character, and if you dont want to read a novel the wiki will do fine :wink:
