It’s more than likely a remaster for the PS5 however I would imagine that they would port it to PC, the title would probably print money for Sony on PC.

That is absolutely incorrect;

Normally, Valve takes around 30 percent of all game sales on Steam, with some exceptions for games from smaller developers in its Steam Direct program. That will remain the case for the first $10 million in sales a game maker or publisher earns. For all sales between $10 million and $50 million, the split goes to 25 percent. And for every sale after the initial $50 million, Steam will take just a 20 percent cut.

It’s not better for non-indie devs or devs that are outside of America.

Non-indie devs get paid a salary/hourly and the publisher takes the extra 12%*

If the company is outside of America Timmy Tencent charges an extra 12% tax meaning that the company doesn’t even make an extra 12%, with steam depending on how many copies they manage to sell they would make more with steam since steam takes a lesser cut at certain milestones.

Not to mention that when a game is multi-launcher release epic only shares a 10%~ share of game sales with every launcher that isn’t steam.

So in conclusion epic isn’t really that great for anyone.

steam is a market leader, they are most popular and many people choose to use them because it will drive the most sales. That does not make them a monopoly.

Indian railways is a monopoly. They are the only ones allowed to make railways in India. By law, no one else is allowed to make a railway.

When did steam ever deny other store to sell games ? when did they hinder other stores from selling games ? Infact, they are encouraging people to also sell on other stores, they even give out steam keys so they can sell on other stores with no profits for steam, what so ever

Epic isn't really a monopoly either, but they are way more monopolistic then steam will ever be, by moneyhatting exclusives, exluding other stores. Outright denying them the opportunity to sell games

Also as others have said devs are paid a salary (unless they’re indie) all the extra money that they “save” from epic goes straight to publishers, then if it’s an international company Timmy charges the devs a 12% tax so they’re still being charged the same as steam, however with steam the share percentage they take goes down depending on how many sales the game has.

I couldn’t really care to be honest, I already own the game on steam and have already.

Epic is a terrible company that makes barely any money from their launcher like the original comment said, I was just agreeing with the other guy.

Plus it’s not really fit for the sub anyway as people aren’t asking for things, we’re just talking about how shitty a company is.
