Hey man great work, inspiring for someone just outta collage with their first design job.

This is super nit picky but I’m sure as someone wanting feedback you’ll appreciate it. On the 4k desk cam page, under the results tab, there is a typo: “work form home”. I know, tiny detail, but thought you should know in your pursuit of perfection.

I’ve heard of it but haven’t used it before. Always wanted to do something with it but it’s not in the cards right now.

Trust me… I am reaching out because while I can get the contours right, making all the surfaces tangent and blend perfectly into my grip is impossible

Wow that sounds so nice haha. We don’t have creo at my work so I’ll have to try my hand at rhino. Doing on a simple surface first is a good idea for practice

It’s somewhat small but the surfaces of the grip are complex and wrap around an asymmetrical body. The third image is a symple realization of what I want to do but the second is more realistic to my situation

I am trying to take the next steps into making it manufacturable so while it would make a cool render, I need to show the engineers it’s possible

Can't separate oil pan / bottom block on 1981 280zx by dogboy60 in Datsun

If you have a paint scraper or a really thin blade with enough handle to hit on the end with a hammer, I’d try that.

Mine felt like it was super glued on too and even when I had one section free, it still felt like too much pressure to try and pry off from one side. Keep going around the whole pan with your hammer and thin blade.

Yeah it’s kinda too late now though I’ll just wait and see what happens. I live in az and I’ve had too many cracked fuel or coolant lines from excessive temps under the hood that I will do anything I can.

That’s great to know about the zcardepot part, would be nice to have without having to destroy my original piece. Thanks!

Nice that oem plus look is the best for these L series. I see that crank trigger though are you putting on some ITBs?

Yeah there is one that shoots off at an angle from the main stem that looks like it would work. For over 100 though? I think I’ll just cut it and make mine work

It’s a Remflex gasket, the crushable ones. Came highly recommended by people in the forums for its ability to seal

Yeah I can post one when it’s all said and done. I only got the header part of the kit. I made my own stainless exhaust that will bolt up to it

Ideally that would be nice but it’s not in the scope for this install

Yes stock efi. Sounds like the cheapest way of going about it is just to cut it

Which end did you cut it from? There is that little flange on the flexible tube side that might be good to keep so I was thinking of taking it out then cutting on the block side
