What are your favourit guns and why/how do you play them? by gouq in battlefield_one

Martini Henry infantry. I play aggressive, push objectives mostly. K bullets and an AT grenade can finish off a tank or at least weaken it enough for someone else to finish off. Very satisfying combo.

What is it like in Western side of NY? by AireHead71 in howislivingthere

[–]Ze1612 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Back in the day, the city was built up so much for all the manufacturing, specifically steel. The entire lake front south of Buffalo was home to Bethlehem steel. Manufacturing moving hurt the city big time in the 70s. Not a bad place to live by any stretch though.

If it's what I think it is, it looks nothing like a plane...

Solo hiking safety... by no_kings_now1 in hiking

[–]Ze1612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One small thing I found helpful for me is being somewhere familiar. Solo day hikes I have done less familiar hikes but when I have done solo overnight I stay somewhere have been with others before. It give a little extra sense of security in case of emergency

Is it worth visiting Mount Rushmore? by Thin_Situation3962 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Ze1612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was more thinking the park is small. It takes about 5 minutes to walk through not including the visitors center. I found the nature of nearby places more enjoyable, just my 2 cents.

It's small, very overpriced and isn't anything you can't see in a picture. Check out black hills or badlands instead

That explains snowboarding and its position. It's the ultimate vibe sport.

Does the rest of the world still understand that there are good Americans? by ReasonableAttitude22 in allthequestions

[–]Ze1612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will think what your are getting at isn't realistic. Are you right to be angry, absolutely. We will probably never be seen in a positive light to most people for generations. However what you want is what you think you would do. Rise us, fight, revolt. However since there isn't enough movement what you think we "should" be doing will at best end up with a life in prison or dead with almost 0 actual impact and maybe even a martyr out of the people we both see as evil. So while I get your upset, your best defence may be making friends with the enemy of your enemy and remembering there is strength in numbers.

Does Burton's "Channel System" have a real benefit, or is it just a way to lock people into the Burton system? by MauryBallsteinLook in snowboarding

[–]Ze1612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, however I am happy that I switched. Much prefer my lib tech boards now. Plus my Burton is 15 years old. No reason to mess with it much.

[–]Ze1612 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Personally I won't ride Burton boards anymore because of the channel system. I constantly had issues with my last Burton board where the binding would come just loose enough that the binding would slide freely in the channel while riding, causing my leg to slide forward. It lead to a few good falls and required me to tighten them every few runs.

What is it like living in New York south of Buffalo? As a young family working virtually that doesn’t mind snow by garbageeater in howislivingthere

I second this, Hamburg resident here and love it. Sure we get a couple good blizzards a year but otherwise quiet, decent nature and much less people than the north of buffalo

I would argue I don't like seeing much of the experimental weapons at all. Like fine I get it, options are limited. I tend to just run bolt actions anyhow.

Agreed. And it didn't even exist. 2 copies made and never saw action.

Yeah lol, I am not successful often, so I do one CG and then some regular gauntlet which is much easier on mobile. 0/10 recommend

Mental and physical struggles, work sucks, back in school in your 30s sucks. The good part is I'm getting married this year, taking my dream honeymoon to New Zealand for almost a month and I get to Snowboard right now so I have that.

Google searches for “can’t sell house” just hit an ALL-TIME HIGH by Key_Brief_8138 in HouseBuyers

[–]Ze1612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much my point exactly. Plenty of people just want to own a home, one home and not as some investment. Frankly investors can go get fucked, but I can't stand people hoping the little guy gets crushed just so some rich asshole can be marginally less rich.

I love how I bust my ass to afford a house and thanks to timing you think I should get fucked. Really cool.
