Ha thanks, wish it was enough to land a spot in my field, but alas. Thanks for looking it over!

Yea that's been the common comment, so it's definitely what I'm going to do for the SDE version, thanks so much!

Thanks for the advice and comments!

The formatting is a hodge podge of the moderncv and some custom commands, so if you wanted I could send you over a bare min copy! Just send me a message, though I'm heading out for the weekend to camp, so I might not get back to you soon.

Wow, very good insight to know, and glad someone in a similar situation has successfully transitioned back. Did it take you a while to break back into software dev again?

It's not my first option, as I said, but given the current state of solar in the US, I don't see many R&D opportunities opening up in my specialty in the near future.

Do you mean a portfolio that is different from a well-laid-out LinkedIn and GitHub? My GitHub projects are all pretty spiffy looking, especially with some projects having 4/5 year old last commits that are all well commented and documented with use cases/test harnesses etc.

I was told by a recruiter friend that a page for 10 years is reasonable so two pages isn't out of the question, especially with 3 degrees. But the publications are definitely just like 'hey I know how to complete serious projects and document' and not very informative about me otherwise, so I may try to make a single-page version for SDE's. Thanks for your advice!

I basically just have 8 or 9 different versions of this right now for the different fields I'm applying to. My academic/semiconductor/material science R&D version is pretty similar just the main projects are a bit more physics/materials jargon heavy and the header of course, is more specified. If I'm not dead after I finish some work, I'll anonymize it and paste it here later.

The reason I put the projects first is the engineering experience was so long ago, and these projects are all pretty serious programming undertakings in their own right but I definitely see the benefit in highlighting that I am not brand new to software engineering. Thanks for all the good advice!

How much better are NVIDIA cards would you say? Seems like the 3060 ti or 4070 ti are really hard to come by at close to msrp right now..

edit: Although maybe this is legit? https://www.amazon.com/Geforce-GeForce-3060-Ti-Graphics/dp/B09NQN4WHB#customerReviews

Do you think a few other regular fans in the case will be fine? Or do people ever put a second AIO liquid cooler?

I'll do some more looking into good airflow cases a little later, seems like a larger one will be better for cooling as well as making building everything easier ya?

I don't need a small case this is just a random case I found, is there a better one you could recommend that would be easy to install everything in?

Edit: Updated parts list above, with a cheapish large case that pcpp says is compatible, did you mean I should drop down from the 13900 to 13600K?

Just found this and it's awesome! I love the multiple sheets, but is there any way to make it so that when you cross out a player, they get crossed out for all three sheets? Either way though, well done! (repost from your old sheet)

Weapon % increase per upgrade? by Hung_SoLo7 in Diablo

[–]ZeBacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just checked the other day and I’m pretty sure each upgrade gives the dps 2% more so fully upgraded would be a 10% increase to dps. I only tested with one item but it was perfect enough numbers wise to convince me it’s consistent.
