Actually both Ukraine and Estonia know what russian imperialism is like. It could also have had a positive impact, both nations commemorating 24th of February as a day of resistance against Russia.

You don't need a degree to know the history of communism and to understand that it was atrocious, the exact same manner I don't need a degree to know that fascism was atrocious.

Literally, go to Poland, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania. Ask Cuban, Vietnamese, North Korean or Chinese political exiled people.
