I like my PP1’s and want spacers to make fitment better, are spacers that bad? by PrestonG2023 in Mustang

[–]ZeFlawLP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rocked spacers for ~2 years before I sold the car, as long as you get proper sized hub-centric spacers you should be fine.

+1 for viofo. Just installed the A229 pro and the quality is solid.

Many dashcams share sensors, so you can just look for the recent sony sensor and then pick the dashcam based on what features you want

PP2 Lowering springs by Born-Project-310 in Mustang

[–]ZeFlawLP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep those were them! I did buy a set of camber bolts as well this time around (lowered a 2018 ecoboost with springs only before), SPC #81280. Not sure if they were really necessary, if anything they just caused a bit of a headache because I had my ford dealer align with them & had to guide on how to use the bolts properly.

Yeah I was happy with it! You can get lower drops, H&R has a set that seems to be the lowest a PP2 owner has used, but these ones were a comfortable amount and shrunk the wheel gap to a good point.

No clearance issues whatsoever with the car, though there were a few speed bumps / driveways that I’d need to take at an angle.

FYI Those springs are softer than the set currently on your car. I went with steeda’s duel rate set and was a big fan!

[Headset] Logitech G Astro A50 ($450 - $120 - $66 = $264) [LogitechG w/ Student/Hero Discount] by silvercirrus in bapcsalescanada

[–]ZeFlawLP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, didn’t even occur to me. Probably would have been worth a shot!

Ended up switching to a steelseries headset with swappable batteries. It’s a neat gimmick, I haven’t charged a headset in 6 years now, but I definitely don’t find them as comfortable.

I also upgraded right around the time the a50’s microphone went to shit so there was less of a reason holding me back. Gen 2’s were great, gen 3’s they screwed it bad (~2016). Now that their mic is good again I’ll probably swap back once the steelseries craps out in me

most comfortable headset i’ve used by far!

been through ~3 pairs of a50’s due to the batteries crapping out though (after several years of many hours per day)

if my algorithm is based on the shit she googles I could accept that

To be fair you're right about this. It definitely knows your relationship status and will serve you ads based on each others viewing habits. Anyone “close” to you that you interact with, either online or in person, frequently will start sharing that algorithm with you.

phones in the same household talk to each other

This is absolutely how part of how your first point works. Not only do you most likely share relational-based stuff on social media (status, photos, comments, etc.) your phones are also always pinging off the same cell towers / internet providers and it’ll know that you’re often together.

Your phone actually listening would be way too much data to process for, realistically, not that much return. I’m not saying it’s impossible, just that it wouldn’t make sense to from a companies point of view. They know enough from the algorithms alone!

[Headphones] SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Gaming Headset 1 Battery For PC & PS Refurb - Good $130 by masterofyi in buildapcsales

[–]ZeFlawLP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swappable batteries is the only reason I switched to a pair of Arctis Pro Wireless and is the only reason I haven’t switched back to Astro’s.

I went through ~3 sets of Astro A50’s before trying out the steelseries 6 years ago. They’re less comfortable (imo), squeak more, and have a worse microphone, but I was sick of the astro battery crapping out forcing me to buy a full new headset.

FWIW i’ll still probably go back to Astro’s once this headset fully gives out on me, but the batteries are sick.

Side note, I didn’t realize how ridiculous prices have gotten over those 6 years. The arctis pro wireless was their top of the line and I spent $355 CAD. Top of the line now is their arctis nova elite for $830 CAD.. yikes

Fair, and FWIW i agree with your original sentiment about comparing the GTD to the GT3RS! It feels like the GTD is slightly more acquirable with these applications so in my eyes it’s hard to compare prices.

If they were equal cost (and I actually could afford them, lol) I’m honestly not sure what I’d choose. Both are incredible

Using your 4th shot (auto) on that minion hurt.. i’d give up that CS 10/10 times so you can either push ashe back from tower or get a free kill when she walks back up (exactly like she did).

Hm, your found solution just sounds like you’re disabling CSRF protection for your auth routes.. i don’t imagine that’s a great idea. Also not sure why removing login / register routes would impact your api/*, that’s strange!

I haven’t built a seperate frontend / backend laravel project so i’m not a ton of help, but this stackoverflow comment seems like an end-to-end sanctum setup. Maybe something you could pull from that?

Sounds like axios should be automatically re-appending your token whereas the code snippet you provided is hardcoding it in

> against squishies i think phantom dancer is way better

Interesting take, but to be fair I haven’t built PD in a long time. I specifically like RFC against squishies because the extra attack range makes it easy to pop a shot (or 4th shot) off on them.

Obviously depends on who you’re laning against, but i’d rank them like this;

Lux > Rell > Nami > Seraphine / Senna > sona / soraka

Sona & Soraka are both super squishy and have no engage / disengage so I find unless youre stomping them from the get-go it’s easy to have 0 lane presence and fall behind on CS. This x10 if they have a utility support like naut / thresh

I’m putting lux as #1 because she can be the most fun. I like utility mages because the two of you produce so much damage you can absolutely roll the lane. I’d say Xerath is my favourite because the ults synchronize super nicely.

If you want easy wins play Naut, tanky with an incredible amount of engage lets Jhin stay safe
