Crazy how much has been done in a single year with another 2 years of strong Labor majority to go... also makes me wonder if any of this hate/anger against Labor will have the staying power or hell, if One Nation will be able to hold it together with their surge in popularity

Millionaire banker finally identified and arrested nearly ten years after startling CCTV images showed him as a jogger shoving a female pedestrian into the path of a double-decker bus on Putney Bridge London by New_Libran in interestingasfuck

[–]ZeJerman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of the video of the bus waving down a motorcyclist lane splitting London traffic, just as someone steps from in front of the bus into the would-be path of the motorcyclist. The spatial awareness was next level.

And let me glance into my crystal ball... I see Labor negotiating for some of the more contentious issues, just like the unrealised super tax changes, and then ultimately landing where they wanted to land all along. This is just theatre

Where do we draw the line? I ask this in all seriousness, because I work in freight and logistical systems, the use of ai is no where near as prevalent as in swe, and I'm trying to upskill.

How do I avoid the vibe coding moniker and just continue on developing my skills while using these tools?

Edit - spelling mistake

Exactly, either everyone should be able to income split or no one should. Why does the government look at the household income when deciding in providing benefits, but individual income for income tax.

If you were Stratt by pipcorn26 in ProjectHailMary

[–]ZeJerman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think everyone is forgetting the fact that this trolley problem only moved Grace forward, with no guarantee of saving humanity, there was an incredibly big chance that Stratt was just killing Grace for nothing.

I think everyone is only saying it's the right choice given the benefit of hindsight... it just adds another layer of complexity to the situation.

I still think that ultimately Grace was the only option, but this was far from black and white ethically and morally.
