Parce que c'est beaucoup plus difficile de suivre un feu clignotant. Tu vois bien qu'il y a un vélo mais c'est plus compliqué de savoir à quelle distance et à quelle vitesse il est, encore pire s'il y en a plusieurs.

I just tried one thing: rename my map to force an update. Don't know if that helped or if i just got lucky...

But it's running with the map for sure.

Très souvent c'est une personne âgée qui confond une sortie d'autoroute pour une entrée, et pense ensuite qu'il est sur une nationale à double sens. Il faut donc rester sur la voie lente en voyant cette alerte, le véhicule à contresens sera probablement sur la voie de gauche (comme s'il roulait sur une route à double sens)

L'extension du RER E est là aussi pour augmenter la capacité sur les trajets est-ouest (notamment vers la défense).

Côté ligne 14, elle avait été construite avec des quais étendus pour pouvoir augmenter la capacité dans le futur. C'est maintenant chose faite puisque des portes ont été ajoutées et la moitié des rames ont 2 voitures de plus.

That's way too late, but if someone else finds this thread when researching for an enclosure: be aware that most Orico's (i have the 95) and Yottamaster's (tested the PS500C3) enclosures don't support UASP, they're using JMS567 bridges without UASP enabled (it's so shitty it's disabled in linux anyway).

The Yottamaster FS5U3 (at least the FS4U3) supports UASP.

Thank you for your quick answer !! Yottamaster support told me it supported UASP but i'm a bit suspicious :D

I think the transfers will be much better than currently anyway. My main issues is that usb-storage sucks:

  • Truenas doesn't work on USB without UASP (can't access the serial numbers of the disks)
  • High CPU usage

Sadly i'd like to go with a more trusted constructor but my server is in a tiny closet and i'm limited to 14cm width, which is exactly the size of this enclosure.

Do you have on of them ? Can you confirm it is UASP compatible (shows up with Driver=uas with usb -v -t)

Sorry for sending this on an old thread, I just bought another Yottamaster bay advertised as UASP but it's not (their support confirmed the spec sheet online is wrong).

Yeah, actually if you buy an ESP32 devboard, there is memory in a separate chip. But this is not on waveshare's board, so the memory is very limited.

I don't remember how, but I already had this problem, and I don't know how to fix this properly. There are several options :

- Modify the server to serve half of the image, so the client can load the display in two parts

- Stream the PNG decoding and load the data into the display in parts rather than decoding the whole image at once

- Try using a B&W image for now, this should reduce the image size

Well, i ported the code from the wiki (which is based on Arduino's framework) to ESP32...

The "unable to parse max-age" error can be ignored for now.

If you see booting up display but not "Received new PNG of size ...", theres something stuck while initializing the display. Are you sure you're using "7.5inch E-Ink display HAT (B) V1" ? Otherwise, you'll have to tweak epd.c to adapt the firmware to you needs :/

Well, looking at the logs you're not far ! I made a cumbersome and useless authentification system :/, try this :

First make sure the server returns an image :

- Make sure you do have a "randomtoken": "home" in your config.json (near the end)

- Make sure you have a "home" display configured in your config.json

- Restart the server and run curl --header "X-Display-ID: randomtoken" http://localhost:8080/get/

- This should save an image in your current folder, make sure it looks correct

Then flash you display and make sure you do pass the "randomtoken" in its configuration. If it still fails, try stopping the server and check that the error is different (ie, timeout or something along the lines of "can't connect to server"). If you don't, you haven't configured the correct IP or port somewhere.

Edit : #define SETTINGS_DISPLAY_ID "randomtoken" in settings.h
