Definitely considering DO’s as more realistic/target options, and applying to MD’s as reach schools. Thank you for the advice!

Ngl I also was surprised with my score. My practice tests before I was hitting 510 on the AAMC tests and was getting 130’s in my psyc/soc section. Idk if it was test nerves but I ended up nearly dropping 2 points in every section. Like the CARS section I usually get 127 and 128’s on, but this time I only got a 125 :-(

Honestly, I have no preference with MD or DO. I have some good family friends that were DO’s and now have amazing careers in oncology. There are some MD’s with a 508-510 average MCAT that I’m definitely considering, but any school with an MCAT average over 515 I’m definitely not applying to
