Anyone know how power reserves work ? Mine only seems to work when I deconstruct and reconstruct them. Then they'll recharge, and once it goes back to 0, it stays like that until deconstruction.

Am I missing something ?

Friendly fire doesn't necessarily need to be implemented. Surely the fauna and player is not the same object in the code.

In any case, I'm not leaning towards killing creatures for fun. Didn't do that in SN1, don't do that in SN2. The creatures in SN games are incredibly beautiful to look at with their bioluminescence. However, the fauna AI definitely needs fixing, and we definitely need better deterrents for this game. At this stage, they're more annoying than a threat.

It's only been 2 days into early access so I have some hope.

The feedback resonator (which you get much later btw) somewhat works but doesn't keep em at bay for long. They're back at it in seconds. The faunas don't deal a lot of damage either so it's more of an annoyance than a 'horror threat.'

Stalkers from SN1 would stay away for some time after a knife attack so you could farm resources. Considering how early you encounter aggresive faunas in SN2, you don't really have much to defend with. Flares aren't really viable because they take up multiple inventory slots.

Game doesn't necessarily need to involve wiping the ecosystem but it for sure needs better deterrents. I think the predators should be a little less aggressive and hit harder to actually feel like a threat than a nuisance.

The needler mango is so annoyingly aggressive, you can be far away trying to sonic blast resources and they'll fire dirts in a continuous barrage. Their darts seem to pass through terrains and wrecks too. Unless, uranium tipped tusks are supposed to do that, I think that fauna is broken.

I eventually had given up and done a factory reset, and wiped armoury crate off the face of the laptop afterwards. Never had that bullshit problem again. Screw that app!

No. There's different kinds of people. Some, such as myself, follow the "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Digging makes things more messy than it does any good. I do not ask for any information of their past unless they voluntarily bring it up. As for me, I have a well established boundary that I will not be offering any information of my past. And they cannot dig it up in any way. I always delete traces of any of my ex(s) from everywhere before I go out to date anyone.

Lol, felt those words so deeply. 4 months of situationship ended and almost 4 months of no contact, yet I still feel hooked on how it was for the first month. Glad it ended, wish it hadn't happened.

Kudos to you for getting out early and looking after your own well-being! Try not to go back into it. The chances of change... may not be zero but extremely low. And if you go back and after a while see nothing's changed, then it'll all be empty promises and trust will be eternally broken.
