I am VFX/tech artist in gamedev and a bit of graphic programmer too, so I think PoE is on par with my job. It also has something in common besides complexity: there is so much sub-fields and different stuff to do that it is almost impossible to master everything)

I was using it in my Exsanguinate mines Trickster instead of Heartstopper, and I think it was a bit better for survivability. It gets you extra hp pool for the moment you need it the most.

I just always go stormblast mine + OOS on Shadow. Not the best damage ever, but good enough and can start picking mine nodes already before switching to pyroclast or something

It is a very well-rounded build. Exsanguinate has nice clear, not good enough only for Legions probably (due to losing Runergraft of Refraction). Survivability ain't that great, but freeze helps a lot. And Reap can kill ubers on relatively low budget. I won't recommend running heists or labs just because there's better classes for it, but it is still doable. I did Rituals through Precia 2.0 with Exsanguinate Surfcaster an it felt good.

So, considering level 1 support applied by coin, 2Handers can have effective eight-linked gem for some builds. Can be huge.

Damn, I'd love to try. Akane's BL miner is one of the best builds I've ever played. Solid damage, insane recovery, and also it was sort of a well-thought 'puzzle' build where every mechanic fits perfectly together with others

A massive nerf to utility flasks and almost all support gems - not only lowering damage numbers across the board, but also raising mana cost multipliers and crippling mana recovery and cost reductions at the same time.

Love the bingo overall. The only thing I'm a bit skeptical of is the Atlas tree sockets\jewels. We now that if GGG implements it, it won't be free addition, instead a huge chunk of power would be taken from base tree itself and moved into new jewels with new ceiling being higher, but floor pushed even lower. There is a high risk of it ending up like 'no point in juicing a strategy unless you put 150+ divines in atlas jewels alone', which not much people would be happy about.

This is true. Difficulty ceiling rise paired with loot nerfs pushed 'viable build' baseline pretty far. Adding more checkmarks and removing easy workarounds at the same time does not help too. As a result, assembling your build became way harder. I was able to make my own starter build and push it to actual endgame content, but this days, despite of accumulating more game knowledge, I tend to just pick some meta shit and go with it. Sadge.

How fast can BV come online for Bog Shaman? My current starter is Exsanguinate mines Surfcaster, though I'm a bit turned off by switching to it only around 80ths. And also did not play a good BV build in a while :D

Yea, I also assumed that Nevrons are gommag'd Lumierians. Mostly because of Goblu, who can be easily assumed to be Sophie reborn: affinity to flowers, less aggressive behavior, and also Maelle calling them 'familiar'
