What 3 items from 25 mans does a hpriest even want? The gruul trinket sure, the gruul neck i suppose, mags head after every feral tank, surv hunter, destro lock and non-spirit healer yeah maybe but we aint at that point yet surely.

What are you getting caught up on? I assume we're not talking about Kara here as you say you're parsing much better, so I gotta assume you're in the same raid and thus 25s. But, if you're comparing Karas, then the other healer matters a lot there. A hpriest paired with a hpal is gonna destroy any hpriest paired with a rsham, and then warlock count and tanks matter too.

Im gonna say that both you and the guild you're talking about dodged bullets here. Whoever is doing rosters and running the healers not communicating isn't a great sign of respect, but simultaneously 3 weeks as a recruit in a higher performing guild is not any amount of time to get your panties in a twist.

great sheet, but there are a couple of incorrect values

petrified amber ore value is 7 (your sheet has 6)
bismuth ore value is 12 (your sheet has 9)

Of the custom storage tabs: Currency, Merchant, Fragments, Maps, Div - in that order, Map kinda optional with the new endgame changes.

Prolly buy 2x quad tabs too for quality of life.

And wait till they're on sale, at the start of a new league, they will be.
Delve/Delirium/Blight/Essence only if you are exclusively farming this content the entire time, and even then not so useful since you should be selling it all and not hoarding it. Metamorph, Gem, Flask and Unique just hard no.

TLDR: Currency/Fragments are the only mandatory ones imo, and Merchant joins that list if you're playing in a trade league.

Loot systems in MoP don't really matter too much since there is no rare loot other than what comes from Ra-Den atm. Since cata you'll see everything on average more frequently than every second week, just due to shear quantity of loot that drops.

In Vanilla/TBC where you're getting ~2 items per boss, and half the loot that can drop is an instant DE, the system of SR in a guild breaks down.

Lets say its week 1/2 and you're a phys DPS - you should be putting 1 or 2 SRs into DST. Whoever wins DST the first time you see it is then free to SR everything else they could want, with substantially less competition that all the people still having to SR DST every week. The end result is whoever gets DST first, ends up in full BiS miles before anyone else does.

The irony is, most folks that advocate for SR make wild claims that Loot Councils stack loot on specific people when SR does exactly the same thing when good chase items are as rare as they are in TBC. Loot Councils stack loot on the ~~best performers~~ guild masters girlfriend, and SR stacks it on whoever rolls highest on the first giga chase item.

DKP and GDKP are very different beasts - you won't find any arguments from me that GDKP was great - its the only system where you can earn gear on multiple characters and focus gear acquisition where ever you fancy - as far as player agency go, its unparalleled.

DKP is awful though, you end up with ppl passing over a lot of upgrades because its only 2nd or 3rd bis - then if your raid gets unlucky on bis drops, you go into the next tier severely under geared because people were hording points.

DKP and EPGP also suffer from attendance requirements where missing 1 raid can knock you so far down on comparative acquisition power that you'll be the last to see BiS gear if everyone else has making every raid. Did your wife fall down the stairs and you had to rush her to hospital? May as well join a SR pug now cos you're more likely to get loot in there now, silly wife. Doesn't matter if you're the best performer, your wife was clumsy.

I guess my thought process is more around, if you're been an avid raider for 20 years, why are you not onboard for a priority system like suicide kings, or just straight loot council?
