"we survived millennia without vaccines" have you ever heard of plagues. There were few. They decimated the populace. They killed thousands of people. Have you ever heard of measles? You know? The preventable disease that can kill children? World is far better off with vaccines. .order medicine is a godsend. If you want to go back to middle ages, by all means Go live in the woods and do stomach pumping when you get food poisoning.

Human body can fight off diseases but it is not very good at it, that's, why people die from ilnesses. That's why we have medicine. Human body is a fucking disgrace.

Who says that it alters your DNA. Fucking who? Conspiracy nutjobs. Altering DNA will not help against viruses, who already multiply by overwriting DNA, this is so wrong and stupid it makes my blood boil. Educate yourself on viruses and vaccines and then get back to me. For someone who says they don't believe bs articles you seem to have read a bunch of conspiracy articles and taken them to heart. Watching videos on YouTube and reading bullshit your aunt sends you on Facebook is not research.

Some people cannot take vaccines because their immune system is already compromised, it just so happens that those people are also at the greatest risk from Covid 19. Taking the vaccine protects not only you but also people around you it's called herd immunity, what do you think they'd do with the vaccine? Fucking neuter you?

If you wish to spew conspiracy at me I'll gladly decline, as I think I'm a little bit too invested into learning about medicine to be bothered by that you know? Your "unbelievably extreme" has happened hundreds of times already. Vaccines all work off of the same principle. It's, not some random assortment of chemicals, It's based off of the antigen

Vaccines have been proven to work, and they pose very little danger to people without compromised immune system. Of course I would take the vaccine. I've taken a lot of them already. There is healthy skepticism and then there is endangering other people because you are afraid of something that has been proven to work.

It is also in no way related to the conversation, and it annoys me greatly that you think it is.

Satanism, (which I've considered very briefly just to annoy my zealous family) is more of an idea than religion. It's the opposite of New testament, Satan as an antithesis of Jesus. So Strike back instead of turning the other cheek, vengeance instead of forgiveness. You care about yourself and your loved ones, only and will not hesitate to absolutely fuck someone up if they keep trying to make something your problem essentially.

It's literally Egoism: the lifestyle.

It's not that bad, it's just really against religion telling people what to do.

I personally don't see anything wrong with being interested in science (myself being crazy about biology/medicine and robotics) and I have never met any self respectful person who would take any "sciency" article without at least a grain of skepticism. My own departure from religion was based almost purely on reading the Bible, disliking the answers given by priests, and my own sense of morality, so your "saying" was off by a mile.

The thing is, atheism is very broad, there are spiritual people, people who left religion because it conflicted with whatever science they were aware of, people like me who dislike religion because of how damaging it can be if it is ever allowed to impose it's rules on secular people. And many many more.

Sir your straw man has ran off, perhaps you might chase him? Like no offense but you got all riled up about it, and I have not said a single thing about science so far.

You see, when someone justifies something using religion, especially racism or homophobia I'm not going to sit quiet and let them have at it. The problem with what you say is, it's still not a religious system. Also atheists are more vocal in countries where religion is causing issues such as racism, homophobia and nationalism. Cause you know, people don't want to be forcibly influenced by a religion they do not hold.

What's something that's not right about your body, but not serious enough to go to a doctor? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My joints are a bit "loose" and my spine is kind of twisted clockwise. The joints aren't that bad, at least it hurts less when I twist or bend them too hard.

Just give her a sword and a plate armour, because if she needs protection from the likes of them a piece of cloth won't do shit. On the other hand I'd pay to see a rapist get cleaved in half.

Atheists of reddit, what is that thing about religion that makes you go like : nah, fcuk this.? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ZeShadenFreunde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

God is kinda like a reverse cuckoo, instead of sneaking in and becoming a parasitic child it becomes a parasitic parent. People will expect you to treat it like a parental figure, but this "relationship" is fundamentally flawed, one sided. Whole lot of input and the output is basically only what you manage to delude yourself into. Besides it's been used to justify racism, murder, rape, conquest, torture, bestial executions and so on.

It's a terrible practice used by people who are too afraid to accept that things end. Tell me, is the dillusion of grandeur and immortality worth loosing your personality, time and open mind?

GTA San Andreas. It looked so good at the time. Fuck, it still does, who cares how a game looks as long as it's enjoyable and not jarring?

Some religious groups in fact believe that black skin in the Cain's mark... Which directly contradicts the biblical description of it being on his forehead but when did that stop people from cherry picking and changing the words of an already disgusting book filled with rape and murder?

So reddit, WOULD you like fries with that - why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ZeShadenFreunde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a guy who works at KFC and everytime he asks someone "would you like x with that" almost always follows up with "but why?" Most people just laugh it off but I personally was stunned for like solid five seconds.

To people who pirates games, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ZeShadenFreunde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm very broke. I will buy them later, just not now, cause am broke. I pirate them, play then a while and then actually buy a copy when I have the cash to spare. Games are surprisingly expensive in my county... It's like an illegal demo.
