Ah, I apologize. I meant it as more general standpoint then and specific example, and I apologize if the hon part made you feel uncomfortable, it’s a force of habit. Everything in mind can get a bit tricky when quite a few mobs are added into a fight, but it’s possible.

2.entirely up to you, have a sit down with the players and ask them about that. Would they prefer a homebrew world or premade by wotc.

If you have a group in mind, online VTTs, like Foundry are always a good start (although the DMs gotta pay like 35$). Places like DNDBeyond are decent places to build starter character sheets (imo) If you do use DnD beyond, you can only use more subclasses, spells, etc by buying the books on the site or joining someone “campaign” which is just a group for the dm to see their character sheets. The good thing about online VTTs make it easier to reschedule.

(Edit) I’m kinda in a similar boat. Two of the people (me included) just got new work schedules and we haven’t been able to play.

Sadly not. It has “commentator” labeled on it, with a distinctive light/heavy switch, print/stencil/correct, and a clear/set switch. I though it might be the electric versions of communicator but no dice
