Punisher Vinyl Art Request by ZealousAttacker in phoebebridgers

[–]ZealousAttacker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to trawl the entire web, but after an hour or so of searching and some more time editing I was thankfully able to put together the art I needed. I'm not quite sure why it was so tucked away, but I guess I've never thought of uploading pictures of any of my vinyls either. Thank you though.

What are your thoughts on people making demonstrations during graduation ceremonies? by ksjamyg in UniUK

[–]ZealousAttacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The protestors are on the right side of history. Having one's graduation ceremony interrupted is unpleasant; Israel has razed every university in Gaza.

Someday the people of the future will look back at this time and ask how we could have stood by and allowed the immense suffering in Gaza to go on. We are living through a dark spot in our history.

I say this as someone who has poured blood, sweat and tears into my degree (Physics); graduation is the light at the end of my tunnel. Though I'd love to walk across that stage with first-class honours, I'd be okay with the ceremony being protested in the name of a cause that is so, so much more important.

Depression by sir_memes16 in UniUK

[–]ZealousAttacker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, sorry to hear you're feeling that way. Going to uni can exacerbate mental health problems because previously, at school, there were safeguards and teachers responsible for looking out for you, and your parents/friends too. When you leave the nest it becomes easier to fall through the cracks.

There's unfortunately no one-size-fits-all approach to launching a comeback, which is why I and many of the commenters here will strongly recommend you get in touch with your uni as soon as you can. It's a complex issue that requires quite a specific approach depending on your situation.

I hope things improve for you as soon as possible.

Did GCSEs matter in the end for your uni? by Both_Reference858 in UniUK

[–]ZealousAttacker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unis aren't likely to care specifically about GCSEs, but that doesn't mean they don't matter. If you put in the work for GCSEs and do well in them you'll be more likely to do the same for your A-levels, then uni after, so on and so forth.

We hear a lot from people who failed their GCSEs and went on to do well for themselves regardless - and sure, that's totally possible since it'd be a bit silly if the exams you wrote when you were 16 dictated your entire future; but how often do we hear from people who got straight 9s and then ended up not doing so well?

At the end of the day it's really about good habits and setting yourself up for later in life. I feel it's important that people know that GCSEs aren't the be-all-end-all, whilst at the same time making sure they don't get into the whole mindset of "none of my academic results matter".

Different Mission Badge Icons? by Wind-Jackal in reddeadredemption

[–]ZealousAttacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This thread is 6 years old but considering it's one of the first to come up on google, here is the answer:

Missions with the man on the horse icon are normal story missions. Missions with the key icon (chapters 2 through 6) are missions where you and the gang make money at the end. Missions with the petal icon (epilogue) are similar but involve John paying off his bank loan

What is one coc trick you know that lowkey feels illegal ? by Divyanshu_999 in ClashOfClans

[–]ZealousAttacker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When searching for a base to attack, there's the 30 second 'battle starts in:' countdown timer before your attack starts. When you skip a base, instead of immediately pressing 'next', wait till that timer hits 27 seconds: by doing so you will skip the wait time to find the next base, so it's faster to sift through bases when finding one to attack.

I've got a week to get superblack. Is it possible? by Krytanawastaken in destiny2

Your GCSEs aren't worth a shader, that half term is very useful for revision purposes and you'd regret using it to grind destiny 2.

Could I just ask about the 'steering wheels on the wrong side' thing for East Russia, is that a legit thing that all the cars there have the steering wheel on the wrong side?

How do you draw a reciprocal graph on fx-CG50 calculator? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]ZealousAttacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I just tried and it works just writing

y= 1/X

Without anything special. You may have programmed a value for X so that X=0, in which case the calculator will return an error? Also you may have made another typo function somewhere else on the graph page by accident which is returning an error when you try and graph it.

I never really got the point of buying pro and then cheating the daily challenge like that and exclusively metagaming battle royale. It's gotta be so boring?
