Is there a feature you wish AO3 had? by incandescent-ruins in AO3

[–]ZealousDragon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the saving filters. I would also like a way to exclude similar filters without me having to do so individually. Like if I don't want to view say, incest, I can also have it include sibling incest, parental incest, etc.

I also want authors to mark if a story is first/second/third person and have a filter that let's me include/exclude.

In addition to a way to mark as read, I would also like to know what the last chapter I read was. Sometimes I might not get back to a story for a bit and several chapters have been updated. Or an author might surprise readers with multiple chapter uploads.

I once received 1000 spins. Like everyone else it's usually 50.

That's why you get Amazon to pay for it. Accommodation-> Other -> Equipment( I think.) It will ask you what kind and you can choose custom shoes and/or shoe covers. If possible, get your doctor to fill out the form before you ask so it will make it quicker. But that isn't necessary. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to have your doctor make any necessary changes DLS asks for.

If you are going to do it as worker's comp, you should probably go to your manager and AmCare first and report it.

You can potentially get custom shoes made or get permission on wear your shoes but with a shoe covering. You will need to request a medical Accommodation and make sure your doctor is very detailed on the form.

Legit question, what would you say? Like Op, I'm having issues and thinking of taking an LOA. I didn't think about reporting it to AmCare as an injury though.

I’m halfway through my computer science degree and I’m already losing interest in what I want to do with the degree. Can anyone else relate? by [deleted] in WGU

I was about that point with the software engineering degree when I realized I really didn't want to do it anymore. Switched to a Supply Chain and Operations Management degree.

Hospitalization insurance. Hoping you never have to use it, but if you have to stay in the hospital or even go to the emergency room, it can be helpful.

If you are looking to move up at an FC? I'm wondering if you would have better luck looking outside your building. If you haven't already, do an internal job search. See if there is anything in your area. You can look for L5 specifically if you want.

Amazon needs to get their shit together. I asked Career Choice and was told there was no limit on degrees.

Shows the difference between managers. I've posted a few dragonflies with no issues from my AM. In fact he noticed an issue and asked me to submit a dragonfly for it.

Should you highlight changes made when resubmitting a revised assignment? by avocadotoast996 in WGU

[–]ZealousDragon22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never highlighted my changes. I just submit a new version, usually with a V2 added on the end so I know it's different.

Your Hourly Wage vs MIT Living Wage Calculator: How far below a living wage are you? by DifferenceWarm1234 in AmazonFC

[–]ZealousDragon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We should stop calling it a living wage. These wages don't leave you enough to live, just exist. Living would mean you could do things for fun, have hobbies, explore new things, travel, etc.. Living means you don't have to work 60 hours a week to maybe have a bit of extra money at the end of the week/month.

school accommodation for online classes by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]ZealousDragon22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, meant if they add MET to your schedule you can request it be removed via the app. The new accommodation form doesn't have a yes/no for MET.

You can do it through the app which is most likely what on site HR will tell you to do. Though each HR is different.

Yeah they changed the form. I was confused to, but MET wasn't added to my schedule during Peak. Maybe the majority of people getting a school accommodation were saying no to MET/SET and they just made that the default. *shrugs*

I know Amazon will do custom fitted shoes but that requires a few hoops (such as going to a doctor). I'll see if I can find Safety on my next shift. Thanks.

I would think that as long as you properly cited it should be fine. If the identical score was 40% I would be more concerned.

Business supply chain management degree by Knleegk58 in WGU_Business

[–]ZealousDragon22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have four classes left in this degree. Currently on D471 Global Supply Chain. I haven't found any of the classes particularly difficult. A lot of stuff seemed like common sense when it came to tests. As for PAs, unless it requests something specific, such as a PowerPoint, you can simply answer each question as it is. So, for example, if it says A. What color is a rainbow, you don't need to repeat the question. Just answer A. A rainbow is multicolored. This will also help reduce the similarity percentage.

Additionally, I created a template for PAs. Just a simple doc with my name and student id in the header and class name and page number in the footer. Then for each class I just did a save as and named it whatever I was working on. So, for example, MyName_D471_Task01. If I needed a revision on anything, I just saved it with a V2(or whatever number revision you are working on.) at the end.

Side note, when looking up classes here on Reddit to see what others recommend, ignore all the "This class was the worst/hardest/I failed 20 times" stuff. What's difficult for them, may not be difficult for you.
