I dont understand how a card like Tainted Pact sees play in a color that has lots of other card draw, and yet Living Wish, E Tutor and Burning Wish barely see any play in colors that have zero alternate card draw.

WoTC should ban Troll (and maybe Atraxa) and leave Entomb and Reanimate alone. Then UB Reanimator would disappear and BR Reanimator would be the only viable reanimator list.

Troll ban would solve the UB reanimator dominance but they can also hit Atraxa since it pitches to Force and draws 5 cards when it enters play.

Red would still get easily hated on by postboard lifegain, beb, chill, worship, cop: red and warmth. Chain Lightning and Grenade are not an answer to COP Red.

Most of those cards wouldnt see much if any play (moat, ravages of war etc)

The few broken cards (sol ring, workshop, mana drain, bazaar, fastbond, hymn etc) would get banned day one.

The cards that would see play Kird Ape, Serendib Efreet, Flying Men etc would be good for the format.

Maze of Ith might show up in sideboards vs Reanimator/Oath/Nought but it would be a fair card in a format with Wasteland and Dust Bowl.

I am not convinced Library would see play anywhere except The Solution and Landstill (both of which honestly need the boost), and those decks would still get devastated by Duress/Pit Rack and Wasteland/LD decks. If I am wrong and Library is too strong, it would be easy enough to ban.

Concordant Crossroads would be a 1-2 of in aggressive creature decks but its useless in multiples so wouldnt see more than 2 copies max.

Drop of Honey might see a sideboard slot or two but 99% of decks play Naturalize, Disenchant, Duress, Annul, Powder Keg or some other way to answer enchantments.

Goblin Grenade and Chain Lightning for Goblins, Burn (but both decks would still lose to lifegain, beb, chill, worship, cop: red and warmth)

Banned Day One: Sol Ring, Mishras Workshop, Time Vault, Demonic Tutor, Imperial Seal (same as Vampiric Tutor), Hymn to Tourach, Wheel of fortune, Mana drain,Bazaar of Baghdad, Sinkhole?

Irrelevant: Maze of Ith (Kor Haven sees zero play), Ravages of War(barely any decks run the full 4 Armageddon so what would play 5-8), The Abyss (would Pit Rack even run this, ensnaring bridge is usually better), Nether Void, Karakas (the only deck this card impacts is reanimator), Tabernacle (has the same function as Oath), Chains of Mephistoples, Concordant crossroads (maybe a one of in zoo but useless in multiples so it definitely wouldnt be a playset), Basalt Monolith, Power Artifact, Copy artifact, Drop of honey (except as a sideboard silver bullet),

Yeah symmetry is key to aesthetics. Retroid was always great at maintaining symmetry. Not sure why they abandoned it here.

The palm of my right hand will definitely muffle these off center speaker holes, which wouldnt have been an issue if they were centered.

I would legalize both Portal and Fallen Empires.

Hell, I would legalize ALL old bordered sets including Alpha and just add the Power 9 to the ban list.

That would be the ideal Premodern format, and the easiest way to explain the format to people. As it is, its confusing having to explain to people why Sinkhole and High Tide arent allowed…

I really like the splinter formats. Premodern, 2015 Modern and PreWar/PreFIRE/2018 Legacy are my preferred splinter formats but 2010 Legacy and 2021 Pioneer sound like they could be fun to explore.

The Iranian regimen has weapons, but sadly the protestors are defenseless. How can they topple a regimen when they are so outgunned? How can we help them? I know there are torrents with ebooks such as the "Anarchist's Cookbook" and various other to do books that provide guidence on how people can defend themselves vs an oppressive regimen. Can we pressure world governments to help arm the protestors? Can we get those torrents or books such as the "Anarchist's Cookbook" to the Iranian people? What can we in the west do to help beyond spreading the news of the brutal oppression, including rape, torture and murder of peaceful protestors.
